Ziad was very responsive. We normally stay in hotels because my daughter goes to school at St Lawrence but we found this to be a much better option. The place was neat clean and tidy and my wife my mom and I enjoyed the stay . Would 100% book with Ziad again .

What a lovely place to spend a wintry weekend! My wife and I had a great time sharing this AirBnB with another couple. Melanie is a great host: she’s very flexible and a thorough communicator. The place was spotlessly clean and fully stocked with every supply you could think of. Melanie also made sure that the driveway was plowed and the sidewalk stayed passable even during heavy snowfall. The cottage stayed warm throughout the wintry weather, and it has a beautiful view of the St. Lawrence River, which is especially gorgeous in the snow. We highly recommend staying with Melanie, and we’ll be back at this place when return to the area!

We had a wonderful time at Blake’s cottage. We enjoyed the relaxation, BQQ, and walking around the village of Westport, which was very close by. Our dog really enjoyed the property and town as well. We recommend the Lost Penny Pub in Westport for a drink and food. Thank you so much to Blake and Lizzie!

Alfie’s place was cozy and roomy all at the same time. We immediately felt at home, with natural light pouring in from every direction and views of the water. Bed was comfy, lots of space to hang things and store your bags without being in the way. It’s also a great location in town with easy walking access to everything. Only downside is the bathroom was a bit small, but there was a full length mirror in the main room which helped for getting ready. Alfie was a very welcoming host, and gave clear instructions for check in and check out, making the entire process worry-free. We would definitely stay again!

Third stay at Butternut Bay, and it truly does feel like a home away from home. We have such special family memories because of Butternut Bay and its owner, first Jeanne, and now Meagan who is continuing her legacy--and it really does feel like that. Meagan cares that your time at Butternut is one you will remember. We thoroughly enjoyed her sharing of the St Lawrence Seaway map online, so we were able to track and learn more about the ships that were passing, day and night! The property was beautiful and offered great gathering places for our family and wonderful cottages to spend some quiet time. The lake is pretty quiet and offered nice boating/kayaking and shallows that were perfect swimming for our kids. The cottages were outfitted with everything you need and were thoughtfully organized and designed. Mark and Angie were awesome, friendly, and helpful. We have nothing but positive things to say about our stay. We hope to return next summer!

Westport is just down the road and worth a visit, especially the brewery. Yvonne is also a conscientious and responsive host, so you’ll be in good hands. Great host, great stay!

We had a great 5 night stay! This was our second time staying at this cottage. We returned this summer after having a great time last summer. The weather didn’t quite pull through for us this time (it was rainy, windy and cold) but that didn’t stop us from swimming each day and enjoying the fireplaces indoors with books and puzzles.

Tim's place is beautiful and great for a family or a small group of friends. the views are breathtaking and aside from 1 neighbour(who was not there the whole time) it is a very private location. the place was spotless clean when we arrived!! we had some issues with sleeping arrangements as we got extremely unlucky with the weather while we stayed and were hit with cold fronts and rain. Was way too cold to sleep in the bunkie and unfortunatley there is no heating in there. I would say 6 people max to reach max comfortability in this cottage. We will definitely be back here with a smaller group and no baby!

We loved our stay. The space is GORGEOUS. We especislly loved the gates at the top of the deck so the kids could run around and be safe. We stayed in winter and the view was epic. The hot tub was warm and the fire burned all weekend long. All in all we loved our stay, the beds are comfy, the master bedroom is wonderful, the kitchen has everything you need, and you cannot beat the view. Hope to be back soon!

The waterfront is beautiful, with a well-kept fire pit and a peaceful lake that felt private during the week. The cottage was thoughtfully stocked with everything from soap and coffee to all the necessary appliances. The internet was fast, and the heat pump kept us warm on cooler nights. We kayaked and canoed around the lake several times, enjoying the wildlife—turtles, herons, ducks, loons, and frogs. The fire pit was perfectly placed for sunset views, with plenty of kindling and wood. The BBQ worked great, and Verona offered everything we needed, including good food at Muddy Waters Restaurant and treats at a local bakery and Kawartha ice cream shop. The fall colors were stunning throughout our stay. Highly recommend this cottage for a peaceful, well-equipped getaway!"

Thank you Ryan!! This listing is the perfect escape from the city and has EVERYTHING you need. The host was very responsive, walked us through setting up a fire. Even in the craziest of snowstorms it was cozy and warm. Gorgeous decor. Comfortable couch. Couldn't say enough nice words!! Some airbnbs you can tell the host has never actually stayed there because they are missing dishes etc or it's not set up nicely. This place was PERFECT and you can tell the host puts a lot of care into the space and has stayed there themselves. Will have to be back!!!!!!!

Kim and Kylie are great hosts. They accommodated our needs graciously, and their place was everything we were looking for. We spent the holidays there and the rental was stocked with all that you would need to run the house and enjoy your trip. We loved the quiet of the lake and spent a few afternoons on the deck watching the geese and swans go by. It's located around 25 minutes outside of Gananoque and there is a convenience store a few minutes away. Would love to stay again sometime.

It is beautifully decorated, everything inside is new, we felt we were the first to visit! Finally I can't say enough great things about our hostess, Michele, she made our stay very comfortable! Craig's place was great! I was in town for a car racing weekend and it was only 5 minutes away from the track which was perfect after a long day. It had everything we needed and was in a beautiful area right on the lake. We loved staying at the river house. Beautiful view of the river and comfy accommodations. The hosts were incredibly thoughtful- even bringing over flowers for Thanksgiving. The place was nicely decorated for the season. When it snowed, they brought over some sleds for the kids. I would love to come back in the summer! Only drawbacks were that the heating was a bit uneven in the main room with all of the windows, but it warmed up nicely with a fire in the fireplace- which is a great touch. The water smells very sulphur-y, but that’s common in wells near the river. Being from the area originally it didn’t bother me too much. Thank you Cassie and Shana! We had a great time.

We loved the quiet, peaceful surroundings, the spaciousness of the cottage, and the beautiful views from every window. We love music and spent a couple of evenings just sipping wine and listening to music through the sound system routed through the ceilings. The kitchen was beyond well equipped! Further, Donna delivered extra pellets for the stove before we had to ask, and Erik generously mitigated the problem with the hot tub. Truly special hosts who care about their guests and their comfort.
