We really enjoyed our stay in the cabin. The location is very beautiful. You can hear the cow bells as you sit outside. Peter was very nice and told us about all the activities near by. We would definitely recommend this beautiful stay!

The house is beautiful. Giulio is a very helpful host and if you need help he will be there immediately. Great area to go hiking. Gladly come again!

Aldo was great and his recommendations very accurate to what we needed. I loved that he communicated with us since the first moment we reserved and was also sharing pictures and sending clear instructions on our arrival.

The Chutzli is a super cozy, small chalet in a magnificent location on the Axalp. The direct view of the mountains and Lake Brienzer is breathtaking. Within a 2-minute walk you are directly on the ski slope. The tranquility at night is not comparable. The landlords are very courteous, reliable and mindful of the well-being of their guests. The chalet is lovingly decorated, well equipped and already partially renovated. For us as a family with 2 children, the Chutzli was ideal. We felt very comfortable and fully cared for. The winter vacation on the Axalp was fantastically beautiful.

We loved our stay here. Perfect for our family. The location for us was ideal. Picturesque, all that we imagined Switzerland to be. The views every morning every evening are amazing. I am sure it is amazing during winter time as well. For us it was perfect and truth be told well beyond our expectation. Waterfalls mountain views, evening cow bells..what more could we want...and connectivity with trains and buses right out the front door 😍😍 we plan to come back with our second daughter. We experienced sunshine, and rainy weather, both had their own vibe in this chalet. Please know that it is away from busy hustle bustle, but if you crave that Brienze is like 7 miles drive (or you could take the bus) and any location is a train journey away! Spectacular and absolutely amazing hosts, In Spite of having researched our visit I believe I had a lot of questions 😜😜 our host was very quick with responses that were full of insights. Loved our stay.

The chalet is very nice and as in the photos. Everything is available to spend a relaxing time and escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

6 out of 5! The three of us originally just wanted to book a stay near Schwyz with a few separate bedrooms for hiking around Stoos and Rigi. We casually chose this place, but it far exceeded our expectations! Just as my companions were complaining about feeling a bit jaded after three days of sightseeing around Interlaken and Grindelwald, the stunning scenery along the winding mountain road to the village of Sattel still took our breath away. Upon arrival, Sonja and Marcel warmly welcomed us with a detailed room tour, carefully explaining how to use each facility. The entire house was impeccably clean and beautifully decorated, with thoughtful little touches both inside and out, reflecting the hosts’ great taste :). If our travel plans weren’t already set, we would have loved to stay for a couple more days! If I ever visit the area again, this would definitely be my top choice. Our two days in Sattel were truly unforgettable. Thanks Sonja and Marcel for making our trips better!

Highlight of our family vacation to Switzerland! Our family of 4 enjoyed the Bernese Oberland area and Grindelwald was a great base for exploring. We enjoyed coming home to this Airbnb where we could relax after a day of hiking. The home had everything we needed, lots of space indoors and outdoors, and was clean and nicely furnished. Kenzie was a great host and easy to communicate with. This home was just far enough outside of town to be peaceful with great views of alpine meadows, other chalets and the mountains. We had a car and it was convenient to go to the center of town, and to the Grindelwald Terminal which had lots of parking. Would stay here again!

Had a wonderful stay at Susanne’s place, perfect for us and two teenage daughters. 20 minute walk from Wengen, beautiful views and peaceful, just the sound of the stream and cow / goat bells. Walking trails right out the door. Kitchen is tight but had everything we needed to cater for ourselves. No oven, but that wasn’t a problem for us. Jack & Jill shower room (great water pressure) between the two bedrooms and a separate bathroom. The building is a shared a property but we never heard the neighbors and host has ground floor when in town. Susanne was really responsive to all our questions and very proactive, setting up taxi for us on our arrival. Love to visit again in the winter. Thank you Susanne.

We stayed in this apartment for a weekend and were really impressed. The house is beautiful, with attention to detail and immersed in a truly breathtaking landscape. It's the ideal place for couples or families who want to relax and enjoy a few days of tranquility. Marta was very kind, nice and always available for every need. Highly recommended, we will definitely be back!

Loved the chalet the views amazing so peaceful loved the area love to cook so it was perfect every thing I need was there home os cozy and comfortable loved to wake up to the mountains views and those cows outside so beautiful perfect place to catch bus just in front of chalet and coop great place to buy groceries and bus station great services and easy access go other places like Bern Interlaken Frutigen love this place really recommend for couples or families

This is an accommodation where it is unfortunate to only give 5 stars. When I opened the door of the house, I was excited to open the door every day because of the view of the Eiger north wall and the chalet that was gathered in the boil. It's about a 15-minute walk to a nearby station, but it's so beautiful that I didn't know how much time I had.☺️🩷 Not only that, the host, Anita, was very kind, very responsive, and thankful for the thoughtfulness of checking if there were any medium difficulties. Not only on the day of check-in, but even though I had to check out at 6 am, it was so nice and comfortable that I didn't have to drag a heavy carrier to the train station by car.!!! The condition of the house was also very modern and cozy, and it had everything we needed, so we were able to stay without any inconvenience!! In particular, I felt Anita's attention to detail again in the service of providing room slippers and lending umbrellas.👍🏻 If I visit Grindelwald again, I will definitely visit again!!

The view of the Eiger North Wall was great, and the cooking facilities inside were perfect. It was a truly amazing experience to be able to dine with a view of the mountains. Two people stayed, but it seemed that more people could be accommodated, and the accommodation was cleanly managed.

It's a little far from Grindelwald Station, but the bus is also running, and it's far from the main hotels, so it's very serene and peaceful. If I go back, I'll visit again.

I stayed very comfortably like my own home on my honeymoon. The view from the veranda window is the main view of Schreckhorn, and the Eiger barrier is visible from the side. It's close to the bus stop, and even if the bus stops, it's within walking distance, so you don't need to plan conservatively. The cottage is really adorable and Sarah is a great host. The staircase to the pointed gable is not for children and disabled people. The Swedish stove in the living room is great. The kitchen utensils are a bit outdated but are available for 2 people.

We discovered a beautiful location and at the same time a beautiful solution to stay.

It was a dreamlike experience - truly a place I could only dream about. Absolutely private, silent, and secluded - we spent New Year's Eve there and didn’t see a single person around. The views, the silence, the mountains - everything was perfect. The hosts, Joe and Kya, were amazing. Super friendly, helpful, and responsive. They even helped carry our belongings up the mountain before check-in and back to the car on the morning of January 1st (!). Such kind people! I cannot fail to mention the heartwarming welcome pack with food, sweets, wine, and even treats for our dog, which made us feel so welcome. Even though we visited early in the season, we had so much fun sledding, hiking (with our dog everywhere), relaxing in the cozy house, and enjoying the sauna - followed by jumping into the snow afterward. So you have a lot to do :) Highly recommend it to anyone looking to escape the hustle and truly enjoy the mountains!

A beautifully modern converted Maiensäss with lovingly selected decoration, in which you feel completely comfortable from the first moment. The ski slope passes directly by the house, and the mountain station, which allows access to the extensive ski resort, is just a stone's throw away. We can imagine coming back!

****Exceeded our expectations****h the view are absolutely amazing . Ralf was very responsive and very welcoming. Wish we could have spent more time but needed to move on with our travel plans. Would definitely recommend, loved the personal touch of the very cosy chalet.

having to keep the 2 fires burning to heat the hous is fun :) it is cosy. the bathrooms are good, excellent shower. the Village is pittoresque, small bakkery and grocery store on walking distance. I can reccomend

A small gem: the house has everything you need for a perfect vacation, and it is in an idyllic place. Immersed in nature with walks and bike rides just a stone's throw away, while maintaining all the comforts of "home" (super-equipped kitchen, impeccable and hot shower, washer and dryer, garden with deck chairs and table, comfortable bed, etc.).
