Monthly Rentals in Bear Mountain, Tomkins Cove

The Deer Run apartment in Fort Montgomery was an ideal base for our planned activities in the West Point area. Comfortable and nicely-outfitted space with all advertised amenities. Excellent exchange of communication with Glenn helped clarify a few minor issues and provided information specific to our better enjoyment of the region. Will be pleased to again consider this AirBnb if future travel brings us back to West Point.

Derek's place is exactly what we were looking for. We felt at ease from the moment that we entered the property. It was easy to find, easy to park, easy to gain entrance and very welcoming! The quiet neighborhood and comfortable bed made for a great night's sleep. We had everything that we needed plus more. We stayed here while visiting our West Point Cadet granddaughter. It was only a 12 minute drive from Derek's place to 606 Thayer Road where we met up with our Cadet. We had stayed in Highland Falls on other visits. It was worth the extra 2 or 3 minutes drive to stay in Derek's place in Ft. Montgomery. Highly recommended!

I really enjoyed my stay at John's Carriage House in April 2025. It is the perfect spot for one or two people. The unit is nicely designed, spacious, very clean and very comfortable. The house is completely separate from the owner's main house, so you have privacy but you know the owner is just a stone's throw away if you need anything. Getting in and out of the driveway was easy and there is a dedicated parking area for guests. You are in easy walking distance to the center of Peekskill if you want to go shopping or eat out. Really enjoyed my stay at the Carriage House and will stay there again next time I need to be in Peekskill.
