This unit was completely gutted and redone, so any reviews prior to May 2022 were about the older unit prior to the major remodel. We loved staying at Coral Cottage! This was literally the most well-stocked and carefully thought out Air BNB we have ever stayed at. Garnet Hill sheets, extra paper towels, and glass tupperware, just to give you an idea. Place was sparkling clean and modern. We loved the location (can’t go wrong on Balboa), and we loved sitting outside on the patio and walking to town. My husband and I felt like we had our own mini vacation with the kids in their own little place. Thanks for a great week!

The place was even better than the photos and truly felt like a home versus a rental property. it was the perfect place for us and our toddler and we hope we can come back again in the future. The indoor-outdoor space and amenities of the house were unmatched and very high-quality. Having access to the beach and the Orange County area was extremely convenient for work and play. There was convenient parking on site as well, which was really helpful during peak weekend hours when there are many beachgoers. I can’t say enough good things!

Carol was an amazing host. The home had everything we needed for a wonderful family vacation. The decor was beautiful. The bedding was luxurious. The house was clean. We were walking distance to the water, the ferry, and a darling downtown filled with fun shops, restaurants and bars. Everything was perfect!

We had the BEST time at Chase’s place. We loved the island itself, but felt very lucky to find such a fun and personable place that was full of character and wonderful amenities. We loved the hot tub, the beach items, the games, the office capabilities, the yoga items, the great water pressure, and on and on. We would definitely stay here again. Thank you, Chase!

This place was great and they thought of everything I would’ve needed. Comfy bed and bedding with lots of pillows! Convenient outlets for charging. Several mirrors including a full length mirror. Plenty of towels and washcloths. Privacy- I really only saw them once or twice. The place is right on the bus line which was super easy to use. I enjoyed my time and would recommend. As a solo woman traveler I felt safe in the neighborhood.
