Chalet vacation rentals in Bayrischzell

We were there as a family with another family. The stay was overall very nice. The chalet is quite high up, so the view of the valley was fantastic. The sauna invites you to relax, which we also used. However, it was unfortunate that the children were not allowed in here. It was also great that you can get directly on a (black) slope for winter sports after about a 5-minute walk. If you reach the end of the slopes, you can then hop on the ski bus and drive to the nearest ski resort after a short walk. Otherwise, the place was clean and exactly as described in the listing. We had a lovely stay at Haus Schiefer. Check-in was flexible and easy. The entire place was very clean and everything you need was there, incl. Cooking and grilling utensils, you almost feel at home. The spa area was spacious and as described. Despite other guests, we also had some moments to ourselves. On our first day, however, the sauna was already switched off shortly after 9 PM (instead of 10 PM), which was a pity for us as we were only able to arrive in the early evening. The app was very helpful for hiking tips and also answered any questions about the services. I might have wanted an extra towel for the sauna (without extra charge), I just recommend taking a towel and bathrobe with you - otherwise they can also be rented for an extra charge. I find the check-out at 10 AM a bit early, but I also understand that it takes time to clean the place. We will be happy to come back!

It's a great cabin. We lacked nothing. Communication with the host was fast and unproblematic. We will be happy to come back.

Very nice house! And we've never had such a clean cottage! For a small problem, Irmgard was immediately available and took care of it right away and sent someone! The communication was generally very nice and accommodating!

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage! The ski area is close by, the kitchen is great for long cooking nights and the indoor cinema great for a relaxing night! I can highly recommend the place!

Was a perfect place to start our Austria vacation. Was great to stay in the apartment with kitchen so we could cook for ourselves after long days of skiing. And the spa areas were a great way to unwind. Highly recommend for anyone to stay here.

Amazing Cabin Getaway! This cabin was the perfect escape—spacious, clean, and surrounded by nature. We loved the peaceful setting and cozy vibes. The host was fantastic—friendly, responsive, and super helpful. Can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful accommodation! It looks like the pictures! Very very clean, very very pretty, almost like a hotel! You feel right at home, absolutely cozy atmosphere. The surroundings are great, you can see the mountains, and there is a small stream next door.

We had a really wonderful stay, plenty of space, great amenities and everything very clean. We were 5 girls and all loved it. The terrace is theoretically visible from neighbors, but we hardly noticed each other. Supermarkets are very close, otherwise we were mainly in the accommodation and can hardly judge the area (except for the beautiful view). Barbecue, fire bowl, deck chairs … everything there. The only drawback (but really only a complaint at the highest level): The light on the terrace has a timer, we would have liked to have it off - so if you are sensitive to light when sleeping and still need fresh air, you may want to bring a sleeping mask. But we didn't ask, so maybe you can turn off the light somehow. Highly recommended overall.

Super nice apartment on the golf course with lots of indoor accommodation and separate bedrooms. When the weather is nice, you can eat together outside, privately, at a long table or end the day by the fire. We'll be back for sure.

Oliver was a great host - very helpful, polite and accommodating. The house was in very good condition and well maintained. We would come back anytime.

We were in the accommodation for an extended weekend, including two children (4+6). It was very nice and everything worked out.

Five of us stayed here in March '25 and went skiing in the local area. The house is very nicely finished and has a very comfortable setup. Mostly we cooked for ourselves but one evening we walked around the corner to the "Restaurant Zur Glitzernden Lederhos'n", which I can also recommend. The local ski area is great too. Overall, a super experience and we hope to come back to stay here again!

The holiday in this house was just perfect. The living ambience including sauna is second to none and the paths to the elevator, restaurants and shopping are short. Claudia's organization as well as communicating with her are impeccable. I'd love to come back...

The lake house was a real discovery! The property is beautiful, a real seaside resort is right next door with a beautiful restaurant and also the jetty of the cruise ship. The house itself is very cozily furnished (especially the children's beds :)). The kitchen is also very well equipped. The landlord's team was always very easy to reach and very helpful. Definitely recommend!

The place is beautiful! Great location and great chalet. Everything was really great. The only thing that irritated us a little was the check in and out times. Check-in is only from 4 pm.. whereby we could only arrive later due to work anyway, but check out 10 o'clock, is quite sporty.. Had this, not really on the screen and slept, then I contacted the host and explained that we slept in and would only check out around 10:30. 10:25 a man knocks on and goes to the chalet to clean the hot tub without further words. No hello or goodbye. Of course, you would have to pay attention to the times yourself when booking, which has gone down with us. Nevertheless, everything else was great and I can definitely recommend the place!

We stayed 4 nights on site and felt very comfortable. If you are looking for a break in a beautiful environment for a few days, this is the place to be☺️. The neighborhood was very quiet and the house is beautifully located a little above on the slope, which makes you very private and has a fantastic view. The lake is just down the slope and can be reached on foot in 2 minutes. The house itself is very nice and matches the description and photos. We lacked nothing! The hosts were very nice and straightforward ☺️ and the self check-in worked perfectly.
