Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Bay of Kotor

The most amazing property, in one of the most insane scenery. My family and I couldn’t have asked for anything better. The whole experience of being in Montenegro was made better by Ivana’s friendly hostessing of giving us so many great recommendations. There’s not many places you can stay in a 300 years old house and are a few feet from crystal clear waters to swim in everyday. Also the neighbours are lovely!

A beautiful and peaceful spot in village Krimovica. Perfect for a relaxing beach holiday. A special place. We are glad to have the chance to meet Željko and appreciate his hospitality. A short drive from several beaches. Local restaurants nearby. Comfortable space for 2 people. Željko has many great recommendations. He arranged a boat ride for us. Ivan’s family farm is a cluster of beautiful stone cottages set amongst fruit trees with BBQs, pools & terraces to enjoy. I’m sure amazing in the summer but not as useable during our late October stay unfortunately. The location is peaceful with beautiful views of the mountains & very close to a number of vineyards. The cottage we had was large & spacious with everything we needed. Ivan is great host. Quick to respond, helpful with advice & recommendations. He met us so we could follow him in our hire car to the property & also supported by printing our boarding passes that we read we needed for Podgorica airport rather than digital (which wasn’t true for information). Great & peaceful last two days to our three week tour in the Balkans. Thanks Ivan!! 😊

The house itself was great but the road in was very tight and difficult to navigate.

Wir hatten einen 6-Nächte Aufenthalt in dem Appartment von Ivona. Die Kommunikation mit ihr war hervorragend - von ihr und ihrer Schwester haben wir zahlreiche Tips für Aktivitäten und Restaurants in der näheren Umgebung erhalten. Wir haben es genossen, dass wir direkt in die Altstadt von Kotor laufen konnten - und gleichzeitig eine sehr ruhige Ferienwohnung mit toller Aussicht! Auch das Restaurant in unmittelbarer Nähe ist gut und hat ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Der Parkplatz direkt vor dem Appartment und weitere Services der Wohnung wie z.B. Waschmaschine, Wäscheständer, 2 Schlafzimmer und Kamin haben unseren Urlaub unvergesslich gemacht. Vielen Dank Ivona!

Logement pour famille nombreuses ou avec des amis. Grand, et confortable avec la clim dans toutes les pièces même si mi octobre nous n'en avons pas eu besoin. Bord de mer à 15mins à pied avec de bon genoux quand même ;o) Calme, avec une vue imprenable sur la mer depuis la grande terrasse. Prévoir de l'anti-moustique et aussi de nourrir les chats qui viennent rapidement nous caliner :o). Nombreux sites à visiter et restaurants sympas à 15mins en voitures.

Un très bon rapport qualité prix à proximité de Virpazar. Logement agréable. Pas de rencontre avec l'hôte mais réactif aux messages. Voiture nécessaire selon nous. Possibilité pour les motivés de marcher pour rejoindre Virpazar en comptant une bonne demi heure à pied (au moins pour le retour qui s'effectue en montée).

The stay in the Forest house of Iva and Tony was absolutely amazing. We are a family with young kids and anything you could think you need was available in the house. Tony is very welcoming and all amenities can be used. The place is lovely! Very clean and a beautiful outside area. Building a fire was a highlight of our stay. We enjoyed the hike to mount lovcen, the adventure park, the public park on sunday full of people bbqing, hotel monte rosa has a nice and sunny terrace to enjoy a drink and we recommend to go to centinj for restaurants and bakery (357). We hope to come back again!

7-10 Aralık tarihleri arasında konakladık. Bir oda ve banyo iki kişinin kalması için yeterli. Salaş bir yer, büyük lüks arayışı olanlara uygun değil. Buna rağmen klima, sıcak su, internet ve mutfak ve balkon mevcut. Basitçe günlük yemek ihtiyaçları karşılanabilir. Manzarası körfeze bakıyor ve keyifli. Yaz aylarında çok daha keyifli olacağına eminim ama sürekli yağmurlu ve soğuk Tivat kışında bile bizi herhangi bir şey üzmedi. Fiyat/perfomans açısından tavsiye edilir.

Großzügige, saubere und gemütliche Wohnung. Gut für 2 Erwachsene und zwei kleinere Kinder. Großartiger Blick bei jedem Wetter und jeder Uhrzeit. Nina war sehr hilfsbereit, hat uns Waschmittel gegeben und etwas länger bleiben lassen, weil unser Flug erst abends ging. Im Stockwerk unten wird noch gebaut. Auch der Garten ist eher Wildnis und Baustelle mit vielen netten Katzen. Anfahrt zum Haus ist steil, da muss man etwas aufpassen, wenn das Auto wenig Bodenfreiheit hat. Es fährt zwar ein Bus nach Kotor, dennoch braucht man hier im Urlaub auf jeden Fall ein Auto und gute Nerven. Wir waren Anfang Oktober hier und fanden es sehr schön!

Great home base for exploring the bay of Kotor. Walkable to the old town of Kotor, and surrounded by restaurants and cafes. The host has tons of recommendations for what to do in the area, we highly recommend staying here.

Très bon séjour chez Ivana, l'appart est propre et bien équipé. La vue sur la mer depuis le balcon est très belle.

Fantastic location, wonderful and responsive host. Smooth check-in and check-out. Beautiful apartment exactly as described and wonderfully clean and uncluttered. Nice crsip white towels and sheets. Unbeatable view!!!!....nice walk to old town and all the action then a quiet evening on the balcony for peace and night lights from the city. Milo was incredibly helpful and accommodating, especially with helping us check in early. He was super friendly and met us at a time that worked perfectly for both check-in and check-out. Very informative and made everything easy for us. He was very responsive to our questions and needs, a great host! The apartment itself is something else – the views are absolutely breathtaking, truly a must-visit! It had everything we needed, was spotlessly clean and tidy, and made for a perfect few days away. The apartment was impeccably maintained, featuring a spacious and inviting area upstairs, perfect for families and friends to come together. The balcony offered stunning views, particularly at sunset and sunrise. Overall, this apartment provided excellent value for money, thanks to its prime location and amenities. Ljiljana proved to be an exceptionally accommodating and responsive host throughout our stay.

I booked this stay for my partners birthday and it was absolutely perfect down to the little touches of making up a baby cot. This is a beautiful property and definitely worth the little extra from a standard room! Thank you for being a lovely host.

We loved our stay at the villa. The location was ideal being a short distance from the airport, Cavtat and Dubrovnik. The borders to Montenegro and Bosnia are also nearby. We hired a car for our stay and would say it’s essential to really appreciate the area. The villa has a homely feel although a bit dated in its interior decor, it worked so well for us all, enabling private areas and space. Aircraft did fly by but did not affect our enjoyment of the property. The real plus for us all was the outside space …. So gorgeous with fruit in abundance; kiwis, limes, pomegranates, figs, apples, damsons and quince. The outlook was stunning and the pool was perfect and cleaned regularly. The nearby beach was 20 minutes walk away. A steep decline but stunningly beautiful. Local wineries are worth visiting and their produce impressive. Anna was very approachable and helpful.

We had the most amazing time at Villa Old Castle! There were six of us in our travel group and we reserved the entire castle for our five-day stay. Filip and his family were incredibly kind, and helpful, and went above and beyond when they made us a traditional dinner and shared their homemade grappa and wine with us. I highly recommend booking the entire place for your stay if you can. We loved having the castle all to ourselves. The pool area and restaurant on the main floor were great areas for us to gather all together, and the separate apartments gave us our privacy when we needed time to relax on our own. Filip and his family were phenomenal hosts who went out of their way to make sure we had an excellent stay.

John's villa is beautiful. The views are stunning. The units are well equipped (both with washers and one with a combo washer/dryer). John prepared a delicious meal for us one night, with Sea Bream, Sea Bass and his world-famous spaghetti with lobster. We had two children, ages four and eleven in our group and they especially enjoyed the pool, even in late September. A highlight was swimming with the grandkids at the villa after returning from a full-day outing (Dubrovnik, Elaphiti Island Boat Trip and a journey by our van into Montenegro). The beaches are beautiful, but quite a journey to them, which given our time at the villa, was not as much of a plus, as I had imagined. The pizza restaurant and local market are extremely walkable (uphill), but everything else needs to be driven to. There are a lot of hills, but this is part of the beauty of this coastline! John is a very connected, responsive, kind, and helpful host. He will help with all sorts of arrangements.

De accommodatie was verder van het centrum dan we hadden verwacht, ongeveer 35-45 minuten rijden. Ook de dichtstbijzijnde supermarkt ligt op 25-30 minuten afstand. Dit is goed om in gedachten te houden als je veel boodschappen wilt doen. Het handigst is om voor een aantal dagen boodschappen te doen en, als je richting het centrum gaat, een volle dag aan activiteiten te plannen. De afstand tot het centrum hadden we zelf ook beter moeten onderzoeken. Het privéstrand daarentegen is heerlijk rustig en perfect om in te zwemmen, wat het verblijf erg ontspannend maakte. Daarnaast hebben we erg genoten van de activiteiten die door Marko worden aangeboden, zoals het zwembad, de basketbal- en biljarttafel. Dit zorgde voor voldoende vermaak tijdens ons verblijf. De accommodatie zelf was schoon en goed onderhouden, met alle faciliteiten die naar behoren werkten. De bedden waren comfortabel en de douche was krachtig en warm, wat altijd fijn is. Al met al hebben we een fijn verblijf gehad!

We absolutely loved our stay!! Couldn’t recommend this airbnb more. As a group of 7, this suited us perfectly, and we made full use of the space, including some great BBQs in the outdoor space. Everything was as described and as in the photos, and the hosts were brilliant! Going above and beyond to greet us upon arrival, help us with car rental for the week, and anything else we needed. The place is also secluded enough that it feels super private and special. We hope to come back for another group trip - Montenegro is truly beautiful

We really enjoyed our stay at Milos’ place. The Villa is modern, spacious and super clean. It is well resourced and even has a lovely outdoor cooking area also. It is very suitable for families or a large group of friends. The only difficulty we had was booking taxis for a group of 6 so I would recommend hiring a car if considering staying at this villa. Milos is super nice and responsive when we had questions.

I cannot say enough about this amazing host. 10/10. From the moment we booked the villa Mariela was on hand to help with every step of the process. From airport transfers, to organising a rental car, to local recommendations, they did it all. Also one of the most responsive hosts I have come across. Every message was swiftly answered with a very helpful reply. As for the villa, wow! The scenery is absolutely stunning and the villa itself was pristine. with both indoor and outdoor cooking facilities there's plenty opportunities to cook in the villa, or local restaurants too. Lots of places to lounge around outside and take in the views. Overall we had the best time and would not hesitate to recommend this location to anyone. It will be a treat for sure.
