Gekås can be reached in 25 minutes by car, the coast with swimming and surfing and Varberg's city center is 20 minutes away. Several golf courses are in the vicinity and Knektagården's Dog Boarding is a few minutes away. Social cats and sheep are in the yard.

The windows have been scraped off for paint and repainted with linseed oil paint. We have preserved so much of the old from the house and recycled kitchen cabinets partially, benches and panels from Vesterø church etc. The previous owner's things are also reused, especially pictures. Fantastic mill with history from the 16th century. In the kitchen there is a dishwasher, induction stovetop, oven and microwave, fridge/freezer. In the small TV room there is a smart TV. Upstairs, there was a carpentry workshop that is now a modern TV room with Wi-Fi, amplifier, Chromecast, speaker system and projector. The shower is in the basement.
