Beautiful Large Lake Home in Southwest MI

Our place is great for couples, families (with kids), and large non-rowdy groups, In addition to summer and fall rentals, the house can be rented for ND football weekends. It is a 40-minute drive to the stadium. If you want to be closer to ND (within a mile) check out our other listing here on AirBNB. NOTE: Fireworks are NOT to be used on our properties at anytime. Clean and cozy. Host was very responsive. Only issue was that I couldn’t find any garbage bags, so I couldn’t empty the garbages like I would have liked to. Beautiful tiny home and perfect location across the park with close access to forest trails.

Great location and home. We enjoyed the direct access to water, the fire pit, and walkable to a nearby state park for a scenic nature walk. Home had a great number of rooms, beds and bathrooms. There was a large dining table for 8 people with large bay window looking out on the water.

We will be returning when it's warm. We had an enjoyable trip exploring Shipshewana. We read in the sunroom and loved relaxing with a beautiful view. Thank you Jo for hosting us!

It was another magical stay at the Point. Beautiful, private, serene setting, even during a busy time on the lake. The house was as immaculately clean and comfortable as it has been on our previous visits. We're tall -- both six feet -- and the slanted ceiling in the kitchen/bathroom (mentioned in another review) has never been a concern. Loren is the best host I've worked with on Airbnb, offering clear instructions and quick communication.

We enjoyed staying here! It was a beautiful location, very peaceful, and we had a nice view and access of the lake. The gate on the deck for the dog was a great idea! The fire place on the deck was very nice to sit out and warm up with late at night. The sunsets were beautiful. The house was very clean and Dan was super friendly and helpful. He stayed up late waiting for our late arrival to welcome and show us around the house. He was a great host!

Had a wonderful stay! Scott was very quick to answer any questions I had, prior to arriving. He also reached out during our stay, just to check in/ask if we needed anything, which was very kind and thoughtful. The house is adorable and cozy! The entertainment/movie room was everything and made us want to duplicate the setup at our own house! We are local to the surrounding area and usually visit the area in the summer, but this was a perfect spot for our son's 10th winter birthday celebration! ❤️ PS - the trains didn't bother us! They are quick stints and we thought it was cool/fun to listen for their arrival!

If you’re considering booking this listing, do not hesitate! My family of 2 adults, 2 kids, and 2 pets had a fantastic stay at this location. It is even more beautiful than the pictures! We would gladly return when the weather is warmer to enjoy the lake more, but we still loved taking in the view and watching the wildlife. Thank you to the hosts for a fabulous stay!

Wonderful place to stay at for the weekend! We had gloomy weather, so we weren’t able to enjoy getting outdoors, but it was so peaceful so we just curled up with a good book! Make sure you check out nearby Dygert Nature Preserve! There was a break in the rain and we made good use of it by stretching our legs on this short hike!
