Escape to this loft in open countryside; just over an hour from London, and close to Cambridge, this is the perfect spot to unwind. Rural walks on your doorstep, a covered barbecue area and a village pub down the lane. Wander the gardens and soak up the green while staying green yourself- this flat is powered by solar panels. The Vinery is a bright, self-contained studio within beautiful surroundings. Rolling countryside views to Radwinter Church make this a peaceful and restful stay. River and village walks are highly recommended. We welcome dogs; we have two of our own. Close by is the medieval market town of Saffron Walden. Cambridge, Stansted Airport, London and the village pub are all within easy access. Sorry, no smokers.

What a fab space to stay in for a couple of nights. It was really clean and comfortable. The extras like being able to have a cuppa and a biscuit upon arrival are small things that make such a difference. Claire was a lovely host, friendly and helpful. Saffron Walden is a gorgeous town, there is lots to do and it is easily walkable from Claire’s place. We loved it!

What a great stay in Saffron Walden at Sarah's cottage! As Mary Poppins might have said: 'Practically perfect in every way.' Superb accommodation, really well appointed and perfectly placed to explore Saffron Walden, and just a twenty minute walk to Saffron Hall for the gig we came to see. Would heartily recommend and will stay again next time we're back in the area.

The Granary is a lovely spacious home in beautiful, peaceful surroundings. There is garden furniture for use outside with lovely views. The local pub is friendly and easily walkable and the Red Lion in Brinkley is a short drive and serves very good food

Debs and Lucy are great hosts and we really enjoyed our stay at Drake Cottage. Set in a lovely quiet part of Saffron Walden but within walking distance to the the town which is full of great shops and amenities. The cottage is fully equipped with everything to make it the perfect stay. I thought the bathrobes were a nice touch. We will definitely be making a return visit.
