We had an amazing stay at Greg’s cottage. It was the perfect getaway and the perfect mix between cozy cottage and fancy amenities! We loved the sauna and the hot tub, they were amazing additions to Greg’s. The beds were super comfortable as well which is always a plus at a cottage. Greg was always responsive and was super helpful. We cannot wait to come back to this cozy cottage! Thanks Greg!

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 We had the most perfect weekend getaway here! The house was exactly as described - clean, cozy, and beautifully styled with a relaxed boho vibe. The location is just magical, right by the lake with private access, kayaks ready to go, Hot tub and the most peaceful views.

Wait.. there is no option for 6 stars!?! Wow, where to begin!?! From check-in to check-out, our group had a fantastic time. Our host was super friendly and easy to connect with at all times. Our group had 8; 6 adults, a teen & a child. Everyone was entertained at all times from the karaoke machine, the games, the hot tub, the firepit, the kayaks & canoes, the swimming, and the stairway to haven, which was truly breathtaking taking!!! The town of Halliburton was a short 10 minutes away where we enjoyed some shopping, lunch & coffee. We were celebrating my parents 50th wedding anniversary; 78 & 73 years young and they rocked that staircase several times! We frequent Air B N Bs often and this is by far my new favourite. There is already talk of a return visit in the future. Highland Bliss is gourgeous, loaded with all the amenities, is spotless, super comfortable and my family is so thankful to Marcia for allowing us to visit her beautiful space and create lasting memories!

We had an amazing weekend getaway with 10 of our closest friends! The place was exactly as described — clean, spacious, and perfect for a group. The kitchen was well-equipped, the common areas were great for hanging out, and we really appreciated the little touches that made it feel welcoming. The host was responsive and made check-in super easy. Would definitely recommend this spot for anyone looking for a fun and relaxing group stay!

My friends and I had an incredible stay at this Airbnb. We were grateful to the hosts for providing us with so much to do, from the pool table to the hot tub, kayaks, fire pit and a deck with a bbq. One of the most memorable moments for me was watching the views from the dock at sunrise and sunset, it’s beautiful and I encourage anyone reading this to take the time to do the same. Very convenient location as well, 15 minute drive away from the local grocery store and anything else you need in town. I want to thank the host for a great stay and for allowing us to use your family cottage. If we’re in the area again we will definitely return!

We especially loved starting our mornings with coffee on the dock and ending the evenings in the hot tub, sauna and lake under the stars. Great swimming in a very clean fresh water lake. The space was clean, cozy, and well-stocked with everything we needed—from kitchen essentials to fun extras like kayaks, paddleboards, and a great firepit area. You can tell the hosts really put thought into creating a welcoming, relaxing environment. Communication was smooth, check-in was easy, and the little touches throughout the home made us feel right at home. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to unwind and reconnect with nature!

We stayed here for 3 days as part of a mother/daughter getaway. It was perfect! We sat in the sun on the lower deck, we sat in the sun on the dock, we sat in the sun porch in the mornings and evenings, we sat and watched the hockey game in the cozy livingroom, we ate good food and laughed a lot! Thankful for a wonderful stay!

Wonderful weekend in a beautiful area. Everything is exactly as described and the sauna is so easy to use. Really enjoyed our time and we will be back again.

Kiki's place is like a little piece of heaven with a lake attached to it. If you want quiet, comfortable, and cosy, you don't have to look any further than this.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was so peaceful and quiet and private. It was beautiful to lay in bed and listen to the wildlife as we headed off to sleep. It was so cozy by the wood burning fireplace in the evening . The historical pieces that were included in the decor and the books about the history of the house were a nice touch. Highly recommend hiking at the Eagles Nest trail near by.

The cottage was immaculately clean (and I'm fussy !). Well organized, tastefully decorated with a beautiful view of the lake.... The sound of the waves lapping up on the beach while sleeping is really lovely! Would love to go back.

We stayed at Julie’s for the May long weekend. And we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cottage was quaint, but modern and meticulously clean. And it had everything you could need, dry firewood both inside and outside, seating around a fire pit, we used the beautiful wood burning stove when the weather turned chilly. And the kayak down the river is incredibly quiet and tranquil .., just the sounds of wildlife. A gem of a spot. It was a steep drop from the stairs to the river, so not easy to get the boats in and out if you are not in great shape. We had no issues, but might be a problem if you are elderly. I would highly recommend this cottage if you are looking for a peaceful getaway. There are trails to hike around too and the grocery store and other amenities are close enough. If you have kids, the sodalite mine is perfect for rock hounding enthusiasts! We found so many treasures.

We absolutely loved our stay here and are already planning our next visit! It's a beautiful place to be no matter the weather. We loved the above and beyond amenities from being able to go kayaking in the morning, bbqing our dinner (propane supplied), to having campfires at night (firewood supplied was so appreciated), and even do our laundry while there. Those things really made it worth its rate. Also appreciated the hosts attention to detail with providing information about tick season, very thoughtful. There were plenty of oil and spices in the kitchen, ice in the freezer, and some condiments in the fridge that were useful so we didn't have to grab much from the nearby grocery store (20min drive). The lake was also quite quiet even when neighbouring cottages were occupied. Cleaning instructions were reasonable compared to other airbnbs I've been to which helped keep our time there relaxing. Highly recommend, thanks for the wonderful stay :)

We stayed at Cherry’s for two nights with a group of 8 adults and 2 small dogs, and the experience exceeded our expectations. The home was beautifully decorated, clean, and felt warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Cherry was a fantastic host—friendly and quick to respond to any questions we had. There was plenty of space for all of us to hang out comfortably, whether we were relaxing on the porch, enjoying the BBQ area, gathering in the dining space, or unwinding in the cozy family room. The kitchen was impressively well-stocked with everything we needed, which made cooking and group meals super easy. We also loved the private dock and the scenic trail leading to it—though it was too chilly to swim, it’s definitely a highlight for warmer months. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would absolutely recommend Cherry’s place to others looking for a relaxing and comfortable getaway.

Excellent family friendly cottage on quiet and peaceful lake! We especially loved the sauna, fire pit, pedal boat, canoe, epic VHS movie collection and the close proximity to a super cool natural rock formation that was perfect for jumping off of! The host is great-very friendly and accommodating. I definitely recommended this place!

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in Killaloe! The property was clean, well-maintained, and exactly as described. The host was very responsive and communicated in a timely manner, which made everything smooth from check-in to check-out. The kayak and canoe were great additions—we really enjoyed paddling on the water. The backyard was spacious and perfect for relaxing or playing around. The deck was a lovely spot to sit and enjoy the peaceful surroundings, and the firepit made for some cozy evenings under the stars. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a relaxing getaway in nature with all the right touches!

This place was the perfect spot for a low-key girls’ weekend. The setting is peaceful and quiet, and the waterfall really makes it perfect! The space was clean and comfy, which is exactly what we were looking for. We spent a lot of time just hanging out, chatting, and enjoying the scenery and the sound of the waterfall. Owner was super accommodating and responsive. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a calm, cozy place to unwind with friends :)

This was a great location and cottage. There was nothing major to comment on. It would have been nice if there were trails within walking distance but there's lots to do at the cottage itself (canoes, kayaks, pool table, lots of lawn space). There was a good, comfortable amount of space for all of our guests to have their own room. Ping was very responsive when messaged with any questions.

I have stayed at over 130 AirBnBs, likely 40 of them cottages, and this may be my favourite. The effort and care put into making this property the ultimate lake experience is overwhelming. We didn't even have the chance to sit at every beautiful spot - there just weren't enough days! The beach - the dock - the lake fire pit - the hill fire pit - the deck fireplace - the gazebo with the full table and chairs - the perfect dining table overlooking the whole lake... And that's just outside. The beds are incredibly comfortable, the soaker tub sublime, and the main living room as cozy a spot as we've ever been. Our original AirBnB was not as advertised, and Tomek made his place available at 6 pm on a Friday night for the weekend. He didn't just save our weekend -- he made it better. I can't say enough good things. Book this spot. If you're looking for a cottage weekend relaxing outside, it might be the best I've ever seen. Thank you Tomek.

Everything as expected, except the difficulty getting from vehicle to cottage. I have severe assessibility issues and one other person beside myself although not as severe as myself had some as well. With railing and mainly steps to water getting there doable. However the heavy stones and steep incline from driveway to stone steps and no railing with stone steps necessitated the 2 other guests supporting us other 2 quite a bit to get in and out. It looks as though you may be in the process of trying to address this problem. Certainly looked as though some leveling and tiering with retaining walls and railings might really help. That said, so grateful to have had the time at your beautiful spot.

Prachtig huis, goed onderhouden en kwalitatief afgewerkt. Mooi terras met goede stoelen en bbq en supermooi uitzicht over het meer. De kayaks, sub en waterfiets van goede kwaliteit. Het meer is perfect voor zwemmen en watersport. Bancroft is goed bereibaar voor restaurants en boodschappen.

Our stay at the Eh Frame Haus was awesome. The cabin is beautiful and private and the property is spectacular. We loved the private dock, hot tub and big living room-was roomy for 4 of us, but definitely enough space for 6 or more. Janessa was a great host and check-in and everything was easy. Can’t recommend this place enough, we had a great time!

Charming, well constructed and insulated, spotless with a European vibe. Pictures don't do this justice! Super functional cottage, easy to access and amazing northern lights. Very responsive and helpful host. Would 100% come back.
