I really loved staying at Julie and Andrea’s place- it was calm, peaceful and yet right in the heart of Poligny. The flat had everything I needed and more for my stay. I loved the area, it was a good base for hiking and sampling the delicious cheese and wine from the area. Julie and Andrea were kind and communicative. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place!

Very nice apartment in a good location with great views of Lons-le-Saunier. The apartment is tastefully decorated and is very well equipped. You quickly feel at home!

We were unsure of our arrival time but Coline told us when the apartment was ready, if we arrived early. When she met us to show us around we were delighted to find we’d walked into one of the most thoughtfully designed & equipped accommodations we’ve stayed in. Everything was there for us to move in permanently if we’d wanted! It's spacious & bright. There were flowers on the kitchen bench, a generous welcome pack, basic consumables, a plentiful supply of kitchen equipment & china (we were even able to bake!); quality bed linen, pillows & towels; shower gel & shampoo in the bathroom. The laundry, adjacent to the apartment, had washing powder, drying rack, iron & ironing board. The picturesque area is good for hiking/exploring Baume les Messieurs. We hope to come back & are especially pleased to find that Coline has another bedroom with bathroom which would be ideal for two couples travelling together & wanting the privacy of their own facilities. Very highly recommended.

We loved every minute of being in the house. It is large, authentic, really nicely decorated with colours, antique French furniture and a beautiful garden. We felt at home. For example, in the living room you can find lots of nice tableware and glasses to have a great diner at the large table. Or, you have your own 'movie room', where you can watch endlessly DVD's together. The village is small and nothing really happens there, but that means it is quiet, especially at night. When having a car, you can drive to Poligny, only 3 kilometers away. In the surroundings of Barretaine, we enjoyed very much the lovely villages like Chateau Chalon and Beame-les-Messieurs. Jura wine is very interesting, where we discovered the Vin de Paille! Barretaine is a great location to go all around in the best parts of Jura with mountains, lakes and villages. Last, but not least; Martial and Pascal are the best hosts! They are so kind! Thanks a lot! That really made our stay so worthwhile!

Very nice accommodation, very cozy and very well-equipped. The garden area is simply beautiful, a total change of scenery to get away and recharge. If you want to find a little paradise with a tropical feel... Go for it. THANK YOU to Jean François and Christine for their warm hosting and care throughout the stay. Small accommodation ideal for 2 at the top. We had a pleasant time in the countryside, change of scenery guaranteed and total rest. We came by motorbike and are glad that our host offered to park it in their garage if necessary. Thank you to our hosts for their responsiveness and kindness. Looking forward to coming back to unwind.
