The apartment was beautiful, the beds were huge along with a spacious bedroom. It was in such a good location on the dock with Tescos and pizza express about a 30 second walk away. The balcony was the best part it had a view of the canal and it was so peaceful, it was busier during the day but at night there was no noise at all. I really recommend!

Thanks for a great stay Steve. Close enough for an easy commute to Sheffield but far away enough for some peace and quiet.

We had a great week in this flat and would definitely return , Pubs & restaurants on your doorstep and a great balcony to sit out on and watch the world go by. Also Nick our host is a nice guy .

Brilliant apartment in a great location. It had everything we needed and was a great space to spend the weekend in. Zoe was really proactive and responsive, and made all the admin around our stay very easy. 10/10 would stay again.

Emma’s place is perfect! We were welcomed with fresh homemade bread after she’d checked to see if we had any allergies. The place had everything we needed for a short stay and is conveniently located in broomhill. There’s a coffee shop at the end of the road and you’re a short walk to local shops, grocery stores and pubs. Would definitely stay again!

We had a lovely 1 night stay at the Ebor Suite and wished it was for longer. Beautiful decor and everything you need for a short stay. Great detailed instruction for check in. Close to a co-op if you need a few supplies and plenty of restaurants and takeaways. We would certainly return and would recommend to others.

Just got back from having 3 lovely nights stay at Carr Cottage. The cottage is spacious, very clean, well equipped, comfortable & warm. Good size bathroom with an excellent shower and large towels which is always a bonus. We only used the first floor bedroom but the bed was so comfortable. The location is perfect for getting to Halifax, bus right outside your door, an hour walk to Sowerby Bridge along the canal and a bus at the bottom of the road to Hebden Bridge. Also, a friendly local pub a few minutes walk down hill too. Thank you Ric & Ingrid for being great hosts, will recommend 😊

dogs welcome but limited indoor space for them. lovely place but stairs to master bedroom not for people with limited mobility. lovely facilities and great surroundings.

Fiona was the perfect host, so friendly & understanding. The house is beautifully decorated, clean & inviting. The bedding was fresh & clean. The location is perfect for the park & Sheffield near by & the garden is so peaceful & private. Fiona was very accommodating & flexible. We had the best time at Danny's beautiful house. The photos don't so it justice, it's even better in person. There was more than enough room for seven of us plus two dogs, and the house is beautifully decorated. It's in walking distance of at least two convenience/grocery stores, plus there are some lovely country lanes to walk around (we found horses and baby cows about three minutes walk away!). Our children loved the games rooms and the garden is HUGE, so loads of space for kids and dogs to run around, plus some lovely seating areas. Barnsley town is a very short drive away, and there are lots of other beautiful places to visit within an hour or two's drive (our main reason for staying was to visit family who live in Barnsley, but we also visited Whitby and York). There are loads of local takeaways that deliver, and a huge kitchen with all the amenities and utensils you could need if you prefer to cook. We loved our stay and are already planning to come back next year.

Lovely comfortable terrace house with parking always available and in a quiet location. Suited our needs and we would definitely use again if we are in the area.

My mum stopped here when her house flooded and she loved it that much ahe has extended her stay. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area.

What a great find. Perfect location for peaceful walks with my Dalmatian Daisy. The accommodation is finished to a very high standard with plenty of room and felt secure and safe. Most important to me was that it was dog friendly and it really was. Daisy had her own secure area to play in and this is just so helpful. Hosts are friendly and the info provided to help you to find the place is excellent, also lots of info in the accommodation about the local area. Would definitely recommend and also would love to stay again for a longer break.

My husband and I had a fantastic stay in the Annexe - the flat is beautiful, peaceful and has everything you could need for a short stay. Paul and Rosie were very communicative and helpful in the run up to our trip and went above and beyond to make sure we had a pleasant stay. Would highly recommend and we hope to stay here again next time we’re in Poynton!

The house is within a lovely, peaceful place, where you can easily take buses to the Chatsworth house. The studio is super clean, almost spotless and very safe (I’m a female traveler who travels alone and totally feel safe here). Ms Deborah is very nice and she provided milk, cereal, energy bar to make you feel at home:) Definitely recommend!

This is a fabulous rental. It is beautifully appointed inside and spotlessly clean and tidy. It’s in a very quiet spot with verdant outside space and close to the buzzy pub and restaurant scene in Headingley as well as being within striking distance of Leeds city centre. Jo could not have been more helpful in terms of accommodating us and making us feel immediately at home.

This was our second stay at Sue's: it was perfect for our needs - a cosy home from home with everything you could possibly need provided. Sue was just as friendly, welcoming and responsive a host as the first time around. We would recommend without hesitation!
