What a charming little cottage! As we had our morning cuppa we watched the bird life amongst the beautiful trees. The property was peaceful, homely and the king-sized bed was super comfortable. It was too warm to light the fire in the magnificent fireplace, but I imagine in winter it would be divine! Jackie was the perfect host, and even provided us with a basket of bread, eggs, cheese, fruit and other treats. A perfect little retreat.

Such warm, generous hosts. Maggie had baked us a beautiful loaf of gluten free bread and provided other goodies for our stay. The cottage is small but had everything we needed for a peaceful stay in the bush. It's only a 10 minute drive into Castlemaine and worth it for the peace & seclusion. If you like quaint cottages, gracious hosts and being close to nature, this is a great place to stay.

This Airbnb stay far exceeded our expectations. The property itself was absolutely stunning—every detail thoughtfully curated to create a warm and inviting atmosphere. Loved the pool! The hosts were nothing short of amazing. Melissa and Richard welcomed us with genuine hospitality that made us feel right at home. Our dog absolutely loved it! She enjoyed playing with host pup Frankie. Very cute! Highly recommend and we will return.

We had a great stay here, very comfortable and had everything we needed. Set in a beautiful location and a short walk through the Botanical Gardens takes you straight to The Mill. Highly recommended!
