Lounge area with two armchairs, a two-seater sofa, a coffee table, and a TV. -Upstairs: Shower room with a 90cm corner shower, vanity unit with sink, hairdryer, and toilet. Bedroom with a 160cm (queen-size) bed and a wardrobe. Bedroom with 90x200cm bunk beds, a storage unit, and a desk with a shelf and desk lamp. Bed linen, bath towels, and kitchen towels are provided for the week. -Exterior: Small enclosed courtyard facing a pedestrian street; includes a garden table and two chairs. Distance to main amenities: Right in the town center, featuring grocery stores, bakeries, butcher shops, clothing stores, a pharmacy, doctors, physiotherapists, nurses, an optician, fishmongers, home decor shops, and a spa. All within walking distance. Supermarket on the edge of town. Train station (SNCF): Valognes, approx. 20 km away. The small house of the dunes is located at the foot of the immense beaches of Barneville-Carteret, opposite the Channel Islands (Jersey, Guernsey…) Close to the village and its shops. Welcome to the Val Mulet swordfish gîte. Our guest house is located on the first floor of a recent pavilion with independent access and a private garden. On the west coast of Cotentin, our cottage is a 1-kilometer walk from the sea and the supervised beach of Sciotot and close to the village of Pieux. Close to shops and ideally located for water sports, you will find a preserved wilderness area where you can take great walks and hikes along the GR, from the house.
