Discover Istria - renovated stone house

Casa Nona Roza was built by our family members in the early 20th century and it was a home of our grandparents. It was completely renovated in 2017, keeping in mind keeping the spirit of old times, combining Istrian tradition with all the elements of modern life. What makes it special is the use of traditional material: massive stone walls, wooden floors, wrought iron fence. The house has two floors. On the ground floor there is the kitchen, dining room and living room combined in a single with air-conditioning , large bathroom and games room (darts, soccer table, bike room). On the second floor there are 3 rooms. Two bedrooms with double beds are air conditioning. One of them has the TV. The third bedroom has two single beds and the possibility of heating for cold days. Also on the same floor there is a large bathroom. What dominates the garden is a large meadow with a centennial tree under which in the afternoon you can be in the shade. In the back of the house there is a well built in 1920. Inside the building there are two parking spaces, one of which is covered. The whole property is surrounded by old walls.

bij aankomst op de ruime gratis parking kan je via prive ingang door de gang naar je kamer die smaakvol ingericht is, aan de overzijde van de gang bevind zich de badkamer met douche en toilet. In het gehele verblijf is het rookvrij en geen huisdieren toegelaten. Voor een lekker ontbijt, aperitief of gewoon even ontspannen kan je heerlijk buiten onder de patio vertoeven, waar uiteraard wel gerookt mag worden.

Das Haus ist ein Schmuckstück im vergleich zu den Gebäuden in der Nähe, etwas besonderes. Wir haben uns sehr Wohl gefühlt und die Gastgeberin ist sehr angenehm. Vielen Dank das wir dort Ferien verbringen konnten.

Wir waren mit der Unterkunft sehr zufrieden. Insgesamt waren wir 5 Personen mit 2 Babys und das Haus war ausreichend groß. Alles war wie beschrieben und entsprach den Bildern. Auch der Außenbereich war großzügig und der Pool sehr schön. Leider konnten wir diesen kaum nutzen, weil er nicht beheizt war, wir waren jedoch auch Ende April dort, wodurch er wahrscheinlich noch nicht warm genug war. Das Haus befindet sich etwas außerhalb größerer Städte, weshalb ein Auto auf jeden Fall notwendig ist. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Auf unsere Fragen wurde stets schnell reagiert. Wir würden diese Unterkunft wieder buchen.

Beautiful, 120-year old stone house

Wir, 7 Freunde und 3 Hunde, haben Mitte Juni eine wunderschöne Urlaubswoche in der Villa Otello verbracht. Davor war ein perfekter Gastgeber. Die Kommunikation mit ihm war immer schnell und freundlich. Check-in und Check-out waren sehr einfach, Davor kam uns sogar auch noch mit flexiblen Zeiten entgegen. Die Villa selbst und der Pool waren sehr sauber und der Garten sehr schön gepflegt. Davor hat uns vieleTipps für Ausflüge geschickt, ein paar davon wollten wir auch machen, aber es war in der Villa so schön, dass wir es nur einmal ans Meer geschafft und sonst in der Villa unsere Zeit verbracht haben. Durch den sehr großen Garten eignet sich die Villa auch perfekt für Hundebesitzer. Im oberen Gartenbereich ist eine große Rasenfläche, auf der unsere Hunde miteinander spielen konnten. Der Garten ist auch für kleine Trainingseinheiten - je nach Hundesportart - geeignet. Alles in allem war es ein wunderbarer Urlaub und das schöne Fleckchen Erde ist sehr empfehlenswert!

This was one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever stayed for an Airbnb. Maja and her brother Ivan were very helpful over text and getting us anything we needed throughout the stay. The road to get to the house is a bit in the middle of nowhere, but when you arrive, you’ll be STUNNED at how precious this spot is. It’s about 25 minutes to all the major Istrian town- Pula, Rovinj, Poreč, (we decided to go a little further to Rijeka to see the epic castle one day. Worth the 1.5hr drive). If you don’t have a car, it could be harder to get around since it’s a bit remote. But there is a small train station right outside the neighborhood that takes you to the bigger towns. We called this place our home away from home. So cute and cozy and the bed was very comfy. I hope you enjoy this place as much as we did!

Die Unterkunft ist traumhaft schön, der Ausblick aufs Meer ist wunderschön. Die Ana ist hilfsbereit, sowie schnelle antworten. Die Lage Vorort ist sehr ruhig, man hat es nicht weit zum Strand.
