Alejandro and Susana were friendly and welcoming hosts .The room was clean, if a little dated with a good hot shower in the bathroom, and opening out onto a little patio at the side of the house. Breakfasts were always good but dinners were exceptional and we ate there 4 out of the 5 nights we stayed trying all types of seafood and fish. Alejandro is a very good chef. He was also very helpful and patient with our many questions and poor Spanish during our stay. Overall our stay in their casa was very enjoyable and added to our many good memories of Baracoa.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft, ruhig und trotzdem im Leben der Menschen aus der Region. Ricardo und seine Frau sind wunderbare Gastgeber. Ich habe mich, wie zuhause gefühlt. Die Unterkunft ist sehr zu empfehlen. Herzlichen Dank!

Habitación muy limpia, luminosa y confortable en una posición unica. Desayuno muy rico en la terraza con vista. Una estancia sorprendente! Gracias!

Une casa exceptionnelle ! Inès et Javier savent communiquer, partager les très grandes cultures : . connaissances traditionnelles et orale des plantes , de leurs fonctions, de leurs utilisations et contre-indications, . nos balades partagées à travers les différentes lomas de Baracoa, les rencontres authentiques avec différentes familles campecinas. La découverte des Rios Duaba et Tao, les journées dans le rancho de leur ami Luis. . Ce sont deux excellents cuisiniers qui nous ont fait découvrir la cuisine traditionnelle de cette région, qui nous ont beaucoup appris dans un contexte économique difficile (faire les courses , préparer les petits plats avec légumes et fruits locaux…) … les petites surprises divines … Je suis sûre qu’ils pourraient écrire un livre des recettes traditionnelles de Baracoa! Leur fillette Carol est juste un amour d’enfant Nous les remercions pour ce séjour exceptionnel et nous y reviendrons ! MERCI

Julke is a very nice host with lots of good information. He is well connected with tour guides. His casa is only two blocks from the center and casa trova. The breakfast is very good. Try his dinners as well! I really liked the accommodation. The bedroom sleeps three people comfortably. Since the appartment is on the roof top, you have ocean view from your own terrace. The only obstacle is the extremely steep staircase! However, he is planning on changing that, since it is challenging for many of his visitors. Luckily he was so nice to carry my luggage up and down. I definitely can recommend Julke 'a place.

Baracoa ist eine Perle im Osten von Kuba. Viel Natur und viel zu erleben. Die Unterkunft war einfach aber zweckdienlich. Das schöne war die Einbindung in die Familie was uns sehr gut gefallen hat. Selbst ohne Spanischkenntnisse haben wir uns super unterhalten und Yolanda hat uns viel von Baracoa erzählt. Schwiegertochter Anna hat uns Frühstück zubereitet ( reichlich), bekocht und sonst mit allem versorgt. Wer einen Blick ins echte kubanische Leben werfen möchte ist hier bei dieser äußerst freundlichen Familie genau richtig aufgehoben

Felipe es un excelente anfitrión. Mi esposo y yo ya nos hemos alojado varias veces en su casa en Baracoa, porque nos sentimos muy a gusto allí. Él y su familia son muy amables y siempre dispuestos a ayudar. Además, se tiene un apartamento independiente con cocina, lo cual es algo poco común. El apartamento es genial y está justo en el centro.
