Luxury 2BR Loft— Ocean View

JasonRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Hands down- the BEST ever Negril airbnb stay out there. Lets start with location! Its a 2 min walk to supermarkets, ATMs, Restaurants and local vendors. Its a short distance to the end of the 7 mile beach. This listing included all amenities- clean towels, snacks, water and A/C. We loved the swinging chair on the balcony. So much good conversations whilst looking at the horizon. The coastline from the balcony makes me want to cry. Stunning. The property is safe and secure. Great parking. 100% would recommend this stay. 5 stars.

Absolutely amazing stay! The views from the back yard are breathtaking. If you need to get away, clear your head, feel close with nature…this is your destination! The house was remarkably clean! All the glass was well maintained, spotless no mildew. The neighborhood was super safe with a great security presence! Neighbors are amazing, we were even ordered food by the clubhouse staff! Omar, which is a neighbor, arranged snorkeling. It was absolutely stunning!!! Beautiful coral reefs with the most bright fish and amazing captain. Small path leading to great shopping on bloody bay beach and cute live music restaurant. Mwaka was super friendly and helpful with all questions. My family and I travel the world a lot and haven’t gone to the same place twice. My kiddos are begging to come back next year!
An aerial view reveals a rustic cabana with a thatched roof, surrounded by lush greenery. Stone pathways lead to the water's edge, where a rocky shoreline meets clear waters. Lounge chairs are placed near the cabana, offering a serene spot to enjoy the ocean views.

Tropical Treasure at The West

I had the most peaceful Birthday ever at Sheri's place in Negril. planning my next trip right now to get back to the most serene views from my balcony. Don't hesitate just book. No need to worry about the near by construction, it will never bother you, I promise. so much in walking distance. if you want to go back and forth to Seven Mile Beach or live music on the beach at night time, be sure to convert cash at the airport so you can pay in Jamaican currency. Sheri is always a quick call or text away. My new Sister from another Mother❤️💛💚🖤🫶🏾

this is my third time staying here and it’s great every time. the location is great and the grocery stuff downstairs is very convenient. Natalie also added more stairs which makes it way easier to go up and down the stairs. Natalie was also very responsive with our concerns and questions. will be back soon!

Your guide to Negril

All About Negril

This small beachside community at the western tip of Jamaica is known for its laid-back vibe and access to outdoor recreation. There are several waterfalls in the area surrounding the town, and adventurous travelers can trek through remote jungle and take a dip in the emerald waters below. More sedate activities include sailing in the bay, horseback riding, and sea swimming. Negril’s expansive beaches, waterfalls, and spring-fed swimming holes create a haven for nature enthusiasts looking to explore the country’s tropical landscapes. The coral reef just offshore is home to angelfish and grouper, which you can swim among during an afternoon’s snorkeling.

In town, you’ll find rows of shops offering local crafts and souvenirs, cafes selling refreshing drinks, and restaurants serving Jamaican lobster as well as the iconic jerk chicken.

The best time to stay in a vacation rental in Negril

Negril’s tropical climate means warm, humid days throughout the year and gentle breezes drifting through the palm canopies in the evenings. No matter when you’re visiting, pack light clothes and plenty of sunscreen. Temperatures remain more or less the same all year round, though the summers are slightly warmer. From late summer to late fall, rainfall increases substantially compared to the rest of the year, as does the risk of hurricanes, so you’ll want to check the forecast before you travel. The dry season begins in December and concludes around April.

Top things to do in Negril

The Blue Hole

A half an hour southeast of Negril, the Blue Hole Mineral Springs sit 24 feet below the ground in a cavernous opening surrounded by limestone karst. Climb down a ladder to access the pool. Some health-seekers come to bask in the mineral-rich waters, and you’ll spy other visitors applying white mud from around the springs to their skin.

Negril Lighthouse

Take the 103 steps to the top of this 19th-century lighthouse, just outside town, for a view of sailboats bobbing in the sea and perhaps the dorsal fins of a pod of wild dolphins. The 66-foot structure is still in use today, operated by solar power.

Seven Mile Beach

Although Seven Mile Beach isn’t exactly seven miles long, you can walk for hours along its soft white sands without reaching the end. Once you wade into the water, you’ll find that this stretch of the blue Caribbean, protected by offshore reefs, is an ideal spot to swim, snorkel, or paddleboard. And when you need to take a break from the sun and sea, you’ll find beachfront cafes serving cold drinks and hot food nearby.
