Alejandro and Susana were friendly and welcoming hosts .The room was clean, if a little dated with a good hot shower in the bathroom, and opening out onto a little patio at the side of the house. Breakfasts were always good but dinners were exceptional and we ate there 4 out of the 5 nights we stayed trying all types of seafood and fish. Alejandro is a very good chef. He was also very helpful and patient with our many questions and poor Spanish during our stay. Overall our stay in their casa was very enjoyable and added to our many good memories of Baracoa.

Ines and Yadier’s home really is a little bit of paradise, like Baracoa itself. The house was everything it promised to be in terms of facilities and the view. For us, what made our stay so special was Ines, Yadier and Carol. They could not have welcomed us into their home with greater kindness, generosity and warmth and because of all that they did, we felt a part of their family. We have made friends and we cannot recommend Ines and Yadier highly enough. They are undoubtedly the best hosts in Baracoa, if not Cuba.

Julke is a very nice host with lots of good information. He is well connected with tour guides. His casa is only two blocks from the center and casa trova. The breakfast is very good. Try his dinners as well! I really liked the accommodation. The bedroom sleeps three people comfortably. Since the appartment is on the roof top, you have ocean view from your own terrace. The only obstacle is the extremely steep staircase! However, he is planning on changing that, since it is challenging for many of his visitors. Luckily he was so nice to carry my luggage up and down. I definitely can recommend Julke 'a place.

The stay was pleasant, with a lot of privacy. Always attentive to what you might need

Baracoa is a pearl in eastern Cuba. Lots of nature and much to experience. Accommodation was simple but useful. The beautiful thing was the integration into the family, which we liked very much. Even without knowledge of Spanish, we had a great conversation and Yolanda told us a lot about Baracoa. Daughter daughter Anna prepared us breakfast ( plentiful), cooked and otherwise provided with everything else. If you want to take a look at real Cuban life, this extremely friendly family is the place to be

Regarding accommodation: Wonderfully located, beautiful sunsets, very clean, everything you need - even an aggregate if there is no electricity. Anytime again. We were very warmly received by her nephew and his wife during our stay. The breakfast was great. We decided twice to enjoy dinner at sunset in our casa. It was sometimes one of the best meals on our 3-week trip to Cuba (salad, starter, main course and dessert) - a dream, definitely try it. They also put a lot of effort into it and decorated it romantically :). Thank you for hosting us so warmly - it was a great stay with you :).

This is an excellent choice for lodging in Baracoa. Very good value and location. Responsive and helpful host with kind family. Large apartment with lots of space. I hope to stay here again!

Wonderful family, very friendly and communicative, very delicious food both breakfast and dinner, have passed on a great guide for various activities in Baracoa - overall great!
