Craigiehall Temple (historic property built 1759)

Make your trip to Edinburgh truly memorable with a stay at Craigiehall Temple. Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, its Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. The pet friendly self contained unit is a detached annexe, internal dimensions are 6m x 4m with an open plan living area. Set amidst beautifully Japanese gardens, it has modern amenities having been completed in May 2022. The guest house is ideally located in Central Scotland with motorway access to all areas North, South, East and West, 5 minutes drive from the location. The railway station at Falkirk High with a journey time of 20 minutes to both Glasgow and Edinburgh is a 10 minute drive.

This 2 bedroom apartment is the beautifully converted former Great Hall of Dollarbeg Castle. Built in 1890, Dollarbeg Castle was the last gothic baronial style building of its type ever built. Beautifully restored in 2007 to the very highest standards, it was converted into 10 luxury properties, one of which is a conversion of the original "Great Hall" with its vaulted ceiling and majestic views across the formal grounds towards the Ochil Hills in the distance.

There's 200 years of history in our cosy little cottage. Part of the original village cross and formerly ‘Bab’s Shop’, it is now a one bedroom haven. There's wonderful walks from the doorstep and it's a great base to explore the cities and sights of central Scotland. Our quiet & lovely village pub, The Swan is open Friday- Monday. It was the first community owned pub in Scotland and has recently had a major refurbishment. Be sure to book ahead, it’s popular!
