We wanted somewhere comfortable, warm with amazing views across a fjord. This house was perfect. We enjoyed watching the landscape change with the weather. We saw fantastic Northern Lights on the two clear nights from inside the house, but had to go outside as they were all over the sky. A good place for photography. The house is extremely well equipped and has everything you need, including snow shoes which enabled us to go on two walks in the deep snow. The log burner was fantastic with plenty of logs and the WiFi was great. Anne was an amazing host keeping in touch and updating us on a road closure due to an avalanche risk. We would definitely stay here again.

Maria's house is really perfect for staying longer. I was very excited about the house. The layout of the house is ingenious, the living room is really large and very cozy and the rooms are located in the back. As a starting point for ski tours, the location was very good, you could even go on a ski tour directly from the house. Maria was a very friendly hostess and always very helpful.

The moment you open the door to Øyvind's beautiful house you find a sense of peace, it is so beautifully designed with the giant picture window looking out over the landscape and great views over the valley. Høyrostua is spacious and has a very clean look, warm and cosy, so nice you almost want to stay indoors all the time! The kitchen is fully equipped and there is plenty of room to find little quiet areas to escape to. The location is well placed to visit picturesque places like Senja Island and the local nature. Øyvind was always quick to respond with helpful tips and answered any questions we had. We would definitely recommend this treasure of a place!

Great place to explore the surrounding area! Runar was also very kind and responsive, and checked in on us when there was an avalanche nearby to make sure we were okay. The house was incredibly spacious and comfortable, with a functional kitchen that enabled us to cook some simple meals.

It was just beautiful and warm at Østein. Great panoramic windows with great views. Østein is a perfect host, supported us in all things and was always available for questions. We will be happy to come back!

Great location, quiet place, no hustle and bustle. Within a reasonable drive of several skiing hikes. Approximately 10 km to the store. Tidy apartment, three bedrooms, and a very large living room. Downstairs, a fourth bedroom is separate. Modern bathroom with toilet. Another toilet downstairs, which is now a cold space in winter! Extremely well-equipped kitchen with even spices, tea, and coffee (from previous guests?). Communicating with the hosts was very good, the answer to all the questions came quickly. I recommend for those who want to explore the south side of Tromsø, the southern parts of Lyngen, the Tamok and Malangen districts.

The apartment is wonderful and for those who do not need luxury and enjoy nature great. We looked at the fjord from the living room windows and watched sea eagles, were collecting mussels and meeting wild reindeer. The apartment is very cozy, we felt right at home. We were particularly pleased with the wood stove. Heidi also welcomed us warmly and gave some tips on what to do and look at. That was great :)

Very nice and spacious apartment, lots of space and everything you need for a great stay. Very quiet location and many opportunities to do something to go to Tromsö or Senja. Unfortunately, we did not see the aurora lights, as the weather did not play along, but the hosts can't do anything for that of course. Thanks very much again! We highly recommend this place!

Beautiful flat with a spacious kitchen and living room. The bed in the bedroom is a little narrow, but it was mentioned in the description of the apartment, so it didn't come as a surprise. The apartment has a washing machine and a dishwasher that was functional. The car was well parked next to the apartment. It was close to the mountains that we liked, so I loved the location. I hope to stay here again someday.

Great apartment for four people with everything we needed to cook all our meals. Sauna inside is amazing - great to warm up after cold ski tours. The hosts are very friendly and helped us with everything we needed that was way beyond what's normally expected of Airbnb owners - 5 star hosts! Highly recommend their place for your Lyngen stay.
