We are from Singapore.. We chose Silje House as it was quiet away from city!! The house have everything we need and is very very cosy. We get to immerse ourselves in nature and its very peaceful. We had no problem driving up the slope in winter. And we managed to see the Northern Lights almost everyday when we were there..we can see them through our Naked eyes..u can enjoy from yr bedroom window too. Silje is very responsive and helpful. She tries her very best to assist n advise. We really appriciate it so much. We felt right at home when we were there. Thank you so much, Silje.

Great Stay with an Amazing View! We had a wonderful stay at Peder’s place in Tromsø! The location was a bit far from the city, but it was perfect for enjoying the peaceful surroundings and breathtaking views. The highlight of our trip was seeing the aurora on our last day—an unforgettable experience! The place was cozy and well-equipped, making it great for cooking and spending quality time with family. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway with stunning scenery, this is a great choice.

An excellent stay at Jeannette's. She is a responsive, welcoming, caring host and her home is a haven of peace. You can go for a stay at Jeannette's, without a second thought. The house was clean, spacious, a real refreshing cocoon.

The apartment is located in what probably is an old social space of an industrial building. It served our needs really well. One double bed and one single bed. Sauna works well and was a huge bonus. Kitchen equipment is basic and little random (e.g. one tablespoon and four champagne glasses), but it allows for basic mountain grub. If you enjoy being out in the mountains, this place is likely to satisfy your needs: warm bed, bathroom, kitchen and as a cherry on top, a sauna.

Thank you very much for having us in your beautiful home Maret. Upon request, some fishing gear and the boat was ready for our use. The sauna was amazing and the house is super cosy and has everything you need. What really put this place on the map for us, was the extraordinary views! Absolutely breathtaking. We loved spending time just chilling together and staring at the view. We will miss it dearly. Maret was super responsive and helpful and friendly. We hope to be back again in the future. Thanks again for everything, we had an amazing time 😊

Oddgeir's house was a find and an asset to our Arctic vacation. We had a wonderful few days there with our 2 little children. Location: The remote location on the fjord is fantastic and very quiet. Obviously perfect for watching the Northern Lights, even if we were unfortunately unlucky because of the cloud cover. House: The house was very clean, the amenities optimal. Underfloor heating and fireplace - simply cozy. Communication: Couldn't have been better. 2 examples. 1) My husband and son traveled alone because my daughter was sick and we were only able to fly to Tromsø later. Oddgeir then offered us to stay one night longer at no extra cost. 2) When our car got stuck in the snow, he organized a tractor within 20 minutes that pulled us out. Oddgeir insisted that we feel at home - we did! Highly recommended.

By renting the little cabin, Marianne and George open the door to their little paradise. In their place you will feel love, real nature and one of the most beautiful landscape ever, even the drive to and from Tromso is breathtaking. For people seeking a true experience in nature this is the perfect place. The cabin is remote, a step back in time, no mod cons and this is it’s beauty. A cosy, warm little haven in the beautiful wild. It is well thought out - all the instructions given by Marianne and George, and noted around the cabin ensure your stay is seamless and answers all the questions you might have - it is important to listen to them, especially as you are in the middle of the wild, responsible for your own warmth and staying in someone’s home. You are stepping back in time, at one with nature. This is a magical place. Marianne and George are kind and welcoming people. In the middle of an area flooded with guides and tourists and impersonal experiences they are a true find. Passionate about nature and the aurora, experts in the region (Marianne is a local). If you’re looking for other experiences whilst staying in the area - they are the perfect people to ask (especially aurora hunting). Going to the cabin is a truly unique experience. We are leaving with stars in our eyes and will definitely return.

This place is just we wanted for the stay we were looking forward in norway ! You'll find everything that you need in the house from tape to fishing rod :-) its beautiful, serene, located at very breathtaking and eye-pleasing corner of the Meistervik

Reidun was a lovely host! She did an amazing job preparing the cabins for us, and we really appreciated all the detail that went into making sure they were clean, and above all, cosy! They are so wonderfully decorated. Upon arrival, they were warm which is lovely at 3am at night, having been out on Northern Lights tours. The jacuzzi and sauna were both very well received by my group, and we even had a chance to see the Northern Lights briefly from the cabin. The beds are exceptionally comfy, and more than enough extra blankets were provided. Location is great, as it's not too far from Tromsø but also a great location to explore the surrounding areas, whilst feeling far more private and having low light pollution. Reidun was a pleasure too - she's a wonderful host! She went above and beyond for us, and was always easy to get in touch with, which makes the experience so much more pleasant! Thank you for making the trip of a lifetime! :)

We had an amazing stay at the cabin! It was just as described – cozy, clean and with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location was lovely and gave us peace and proximity to nature. The host was very nice and easy to communicate with and we felt very welcome. We would love to come back and highly recommend this cabin!

Beautiful location with comfortable living area. Hot tub, fireplace worked great. Igloo looked cool, may want to add that option (if possible). It was cloudy while we were there, but the northern lights we did see seemed to want to be right over this house. Recommend cooking own meals (we did), resturants can be far. We did travel a couple hours away to hike Sukkertoppen trail in Hamn. Very cool coastal trail/hike. In winter recommend spikes. Challenging hike. Then visited Gryllefjord for dinner. Amazing mountain/fjord views. Good fish and friendly folks.

What an amazing location! The cabin was great, and we thoroughly enjoyed the Northern Lights in between breaks from the sauna!. This cabin is located in the same fjord where one of the most incredible stories in history took place. The story of Jan Baalsrud is absolutely incredible, and Furuflaten, Hotell Savoy, and Manndalan are all a stone's throw from this cabin! I strongly recommend reading "We Die Alone" by David Howarth, or watch the 12th Man (but the book is better). Long story short, this cabin is perfectly situated to experience all that Arctic Norway has to offer.
