The area also received pingos as a gift from the Ice Age. Located in the middle of 2 national parks: Lauwersmeer and the Alde Feannen. Ideal cycling and hiking area.

Sleeping with the sheep & a whole herd of horses.

Waking up with a view of the dining room, a herd of horses living in freedom, 2 pigs making their beds in front of the window every evening, and sometimes a sheep walking by... Closer to the pure things in life. Therefore, there is no Wi-Fi and no TV. There is, however, a large table for playing games together and a lovely sofa for drinking a glass of wine together. Our apartment is located in an old farmhouse. With a beautiful view (airport, horse rental). The apartment is quietly located in Ballum, close to supermarket, bike rental and dining options. Also beach and forest are within walking distance (about 1500 meters). On our property there is a second apartment and we also have various animals walking in the meadow (goats, ducks, chickens and ponies).
