Vacation rentals with beach access in Ballum

We had wonderful days on Ameland with our dog. Petra's accommodation was top, with all the comforts and especially the kitchen very cozy! Ideal for hiking with the dog right from the house. And a few minutes walk to the supermarket. Beach easy to reach by car or bike.

Corine and David were very nice and hospitable. The property is very cozy. The location is perfect. Close to town and beach. We certainly weren't on Texel for the last time.

A great place and a lovely B&B! If I'm in the burt again, I'd love to come back!

We were immediately welcomed and welcomed very warmly by Ympkje. The apartment was beautiful as shown in the pictures and very very clean. In the bathroom, everything you needed was there. Lots of towels, hair dryer, shower gel & shampoo. The kitchen was perfectly equipped for cooking. The apartment was very stylishly furnished and we immediately felt comfortable. On the terrace you could enjoy beautiful hours of sunshine. Ympkje was very attentive and always asked if everything was okay. We were able to rent bikes and explore the area. We will definitely recommend the accommodation and will also be happy to come back !

We enjoyed our short break very much. The quiet and cozy location was rounded off by the only 15-minute walk to the almost private beach on EuroParcs. The complex (an old farm) and the apartment are very clean. The apartment itself was probably just recently renovated. The landlord is very friendly and committed. We will definitely come back.

It was a lovely stay with super nice and useful tips from the host! Mega helpful and easy to find if you needed something but also let you go completely and free. We have so much enjoyed this lovely place.

What a nice stay we had! Super friendly people. Beautiful place and very central location. We were with 2 young children and this was very easy to do! Certainly subject to repetition! Who knows, maybe next year!😉

Very nice place, we felt immediately comfortable. Everything is high quality and practically furnished, furniture and pictures are tasteful, there are beautiful and special lamps everywhere. We had a lot of spices, oil and our own knives with us, that would not have been necessary. Irene was extremely friendly and helpful. These were very special days for us, thank you very much!

A very neat and very cozily furnished holiday home. The kitchen is very fully equipped and sparkling clean! There is a spacious parking and you can also store bicycles safely and dry. Very cozy garden! Desirée, the friendly host, is very approachable and responds almost immediately to questions. We have had a very nice holiday here! Thank you, Desirée!

We had a wonderful time with our daughter. There are so many interesting things to do on the island. The indoor pool with its crazy slides was fantastic. Gerdi was a terrific host. We‘ll come again.

Unfortunately, my own stay was only of a very short duration, because I became increasingly sick during the first evening. Karin helped us (I stayed here for a weekend with my best friend) with the contact details of the doctor's guard and there, in addition to antibiotics, I got the advice to go out at home sick... So whether my husband still pick me up around midnight. Extremely unfortunate because the cottage had/has everything we had been looking forward to. From a nice dining table to chat at, playing games, being creative, to a really beautifully finished bathroom, well-equipped kitchen and a lovely bed (I spent a few hours sick there that afternoon so I'll take that experience as a "bonus". My girlfriend was able to explore the beautiful surroundings further after my departure, she stayed there to enjoy the tranquility and did this to the fullest! In the future, we hope for a resit because this location is definitely worth it!

Perfectly spacious house with beautiful garden in a beautiful location. Everything is present and Stan and Nicole we also do everything we can to make you feel at home. In low and for season a beautiful and quiet place on the island. Everything within walking distance ... Recommended!

We had a wonderful vacation. The vacation home is exceptionally well equipped with everything you need and very comfortably furnished! You feel right at home! The contact with Renske was super nice and reliably fast. You can only recommend the house!!!

We had a short vacation with two children. The accommodation has enough space for a family of 4. The rooms were all clean. You have everything you need. And we had felt like at home. In the garden there is a nice sauna and a large hot tub. The sauna is worth the money in our opinion. And we were allowed to enjoy the hot tub to the fullest with the wood provided to us free of charge. The surroundings and a very nice playground also leave nothing to be desired. I'm sure we'll be back. Thank you and all the best!

Stay is in a good location to the city center of Leeuwarden. Museums, restaurants and shopping in walking distance. Well cared for stay. Good communication. Nice detail: the photo wall with what the street used to look like. Tip: the Miniature People hiking trail!

Renske's home is nestled in the last village of the island, and a moment's walk into the dunes. So it was perfect for us who were searching for peace, quiet, and nature. The kitchen was spacious with great amenities, and the bedrooms were soo cozy! It was a bit challenging to find her home. It's amidst several other homes/doors. There was no sign, whether with a name or number, on an outside wall like other cottages/doors did. So we asked neighbours who were out and about if they could help us find the correct cottage, which we did. Renske was super supportive with my questions with prompt responses, I really appreciated her warmth. Thank you for having us Renske!

The hosts Gjis and Sophie were very sweet. If we had any questions, they were immediately available and the location was great. Free parking was right outside the door and also a Spar right next door. The beach was a few minutes' walk away. In the immediate vicinity were also restaurants. Quick access to the highway. The apartment left nothing to be desired in terms of amenities and was lovingly furnished. It was also great that you could connect your smartphone or similar multimedia devices directly to the TV. All in all a nice place and we would definitely come back! Julia and Tommy

We really enjoyed our stay, the place was very nice and clean. Just a little smaller than shown in the pictures, but completely ok for two people. We were very satisfied with everything, especially Johanna was extremely friendly and accommodating! We were primarily in Stavoren for fishing and had a lot of fun and beautiful fish. APARTMENT: Fantastically beautiful view directly on Lake Jissel. Waking up in bed has never been more beautiful. Very quiet location, super nice hosts. Despite the advertised "dog apartment" very clean. AREA: A supermarket can be reached in 5-7 minutes on foot daily. A café is almost right outside the front door.

We had a great stay! The apartment is clean and very well equipped (especially the kitchen). We didn't find the volume bad, as written in other reviews. You can hear normal everyday noises, as usual in hotel complexes. But probably also the neighbors you have right now. Overall, we are very satisfied.

Had a nice stay here! We slept in apartment room 6, where the terrace was on the courtyard garden. In the morning it stayed cool in the room and in the evening we could enjoy a sun on our terrace. The room looks well cared for. Great bathroom, nice bed, convenient kitchen. The interior is quite basic, but nice and quiet. What I would like myself is if you don't have to bring your own towels. A bottle of hand soap and a shower mat would also be useful.
