I can’t say enough wonderful things about Padraig’s Orchard Lodge! He was communicative, helpful, accommodating, and made sure we felt right at home. We especially loved the personal touches of the fresh-baked sourdough, the toys available for our daughter and Padraig’s willingness to introduce our daughter to his and Fanny’s chickens, which she thought was the absolute coolest! We had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend it as your lodging for visiting all that County Cork has to offer - especially adorable Kinsale and the gorgeous coastal views of West Cork!

We had an amazing stay at Michael’s beautiful farm! The location is absolutely pristine, peaceful, and surrounded by stunning countryside. It’s the perfect spot to relax and disconnect, yet only about 20 minutes from Cork, which made day trips really convenient. The house itself is spotless, cozy, and feels just like home. Michael is a wonderful host—kind, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable about the area. Highly recommend this gem of a place!

Gems place was amazing! Gem was beyond friendly and gave us great recommendations and helped us figure out the bus! I would definitely recommend staying here. It is in more of a suburban location with a 20 minute bus ride to the city or a 6 minute taxi drive. But overall would recommend!
