Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Ballina

Beautiful home the views are outstanding especially if the sun is out. David was great we had trouble connecting to the WiFi as my son had accidentally turned off a plug in a bedroom this could have been a nightmare (can you imagine a 9year old with no WiFi) David called my straight away and explained what to do to fix it. Rossnowlagh beach is close and also the smugglers creek inn was a highlight for dinner if i get the chance il definitely be back.

Unser Aufenthalt bei Donal war absolut großartig! Die Unterkunft war genauso, wie beschrieben – sehr sauber, stilvoll eingerichtet und mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Donal achtet sehr auf Details wie etwa liebevolle Blümchen aus dem Garten in den Zimmern. Besonders beeindruckt waren wir von Donals Gastfreundschaft und Hilfsbereitschaft – er war immer schnell erreichbar und hatte tolle Tipps für die Umgebung parat. Die Lage ist ideal, ruhig und trotzdem nah an allem Wichtigen. Wir haben uns vom ersten Moment an wohlgefühlt und würden jederzeit wiederkommen. Ganz klare Empfehlung! A traditional Irish cottage, beautifully appointed. Suitable for two couples as the two double bedrooms both have ensuite shower rooms, with a downstairs lavatory also available. Newport is a characterful village (the inhabitants call it a town) and the public house next door has a welcoming landlord, good food and friendly locals. There are four or five other public houses in Newport, which we didn't have time to visit over a two night stay. We enjoyed our short visit to Mayo, and could have spent more time there. Waterfront cottage is well situated, extremely well kept and comfortably homely.

La casa es espectacular, es muy amplia y cómoda. Está bien ubicada para lo que nosotros necesitábamos. Lo mejor ha sido la atención de los anfitriones, llegamos tarde y nos esperaron sin problema y con una sonrisa. Desde luego es una opción inmejorable para quedarse. Volvería sin dudarlo

Tigh Aine is a fabulous traditional Irish cottage where my husband and I based ourselves for three nights to explore North Mayo. Beatrice and Brendan have thought of everything in this gorgeous cottage, we were so comfortable during our stay, thank you. Super fast WiFi allowed us to work remotely too which was a bonus. We will definitely look at returning soon.

The cottage is in a small village with a few houses around . Very quiet but you do need a car to get anywhere . House was clean and tidy but there was a damp smell on entering g the property . The windows had been left open to alleviate this I think . Once we had had the heating on for a little while we didn’t smell it again . The welcome gifts were helpful with milk , butter eggs and bread and several other things too. Nice comfortable bed .

The location was excellent for a wedding we attended at knockranny hotel, also walking distance to the town centre. Paul had milk in the fridge and a few essentials which was a lovely touch! The house was very homely and welcoming!

We recently stayed at Carol's place in Enniscrone and it was perfect for our visit to Enniscrone. Our group included a six month old baby and a 5 year old boy as well as the adults. Overall we found the house was perfect for our needs. It was spotless clean with a very well equipped kitchen. A Centra supermarket is very close and it is just a short 10 min walk to the centre of the village proper. We can highly recommend this listing for anyone wishing to expore and enjoy this beautiful area of Ireland. Our best recommendation is the fact that we have already been enquiring when the house is free as we wish to make a return visit. It was quite simply perfect for us.

We enjoyed our 5 night stay at Marie's very much! Could have stayed longer. Everything was clean, the beds very comfortable. It's a little ways outside of Westport so it's a perfect combination of quiet and peaceful but still with plenty to do close by. We spent lots of time in the living room just enjoying the amazing view. Kitchen was well stocked and easy to use. Hopefully we can stay again one day!

Lovely private mews. Small but very efficiently laid out. Nice friendly hosts. Definitely recommend.

Mary and Paddy were amazing hosts. Being on their ranch was so much fun. The view of the lake is incredible. They both were very helpful. I would highly recommend staying at their place. We loved it.

Mary and Eamonn’s place was one of our favorite places that we stayed in on our trip. Their property is beautiful and serene. The little hiking trails that lead to the river were lovely to take a contemplative walk. Eamonn was great in making sure that we were settled in and gave some great recommendations for some local walks. Being greeted by their dog Coco every morning was a great start to the day! We wish we could have stayed there longer. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway that is still close to town.

Irish hospitality at its best. Our hosts were lovely, bringing us freshly laid eggs most days and usually around at the end of the day for a friendly chat. The location was great, we loved our evening strolls along the beach. We hope to return someday.

Lovely peaceful location. Asked sheila beforehand if basics would b there on arrival and sure enough there was tea, coffee, pint of milk and packet of biscuits We arrived half hour early and sheila had just arrived to clean house after the previous tenant so we went for walk on thebeautiful beach and house was ready when we arrived back. Super comfy bed. So peaceful day and night. Tenants in main house were very quiet. Beach bar less than 10 mins walk was very good value - should book ahead if dining there. We didn't use cooking facilities in house so cannot comment in that regard. Overall loved our stay and would be very happy to re book. Sheila was quick to respond to any queries before we arrived. We put bed linen on to wash before we left but as there was only one washing pod we didn't put on the 2 towels as didn't want to overload washing machine. Would recommend

I Have Stayed in Foxford Many Times and this location was Perfect the Apartment Was Stunning Clean Tidy And well presented everything you Needed was there and Mary also left us some food in the fridge and fresh bread How Nice which was wonderful after a long drive and also kept in touch could not fault this Apartment shops and pubs for food Within Walking Distance with Beautiful views of the river Moy on your door step This I Have to say was a great Experience And Would not Hesitate To Return soon Thank You Mary

Comfortabel appartement in mooie en interessante omgeving met excellente gastheer Hughes en een niet te missen bar/restaurant ( Burke) als overbuurman. Ga daar zeker eens iets drinken of eten. Van harte aanbevolen!

A lovely house in a lovely setting

Our stay at Aidan’s home far exceeded our expectations. It is a little slice of paradise. The home is much larger than the photos indicate, plenty of room for our family of four to spread out. We cooked most of our meals there which was very easy as his kitchen is fully stocked with everything we needed. The outdoor spaces and view were magical. Aidan was kind enough to suggest a fishing spot for our son which was greatly appreciated. The town of Westport was easily drivable - a 15-20 minute drive. We would definitely stay again if we’re ever in the area.

Thoroughly recommend. Beautiful house, very homely, with lots of space, super garden and amazing view. We had 4 very happy days here. Nicky was a super host, very kind and responsive. Thank you.

Located in a private forest, Finola's estate is a living history. It's my first time staying in such an old building. A quiet country road takes us into the woods, then the fountain welcomed us, just like entering an elegant Victorian film. The house is equipped with all modern facilities and even a bathtub. The first day, the wifi was not functioning, but Finola helped promptly. Minor flaws: the cups were not cleanly washed, and providing toiletries would make it even more perfect.
