House vacation rentals in Ballabio

Wir waren zum zweiten mal in Monias wunderschönem Haus in Montemezzo und wir haben uns wieder sehr sehr wohl gefühlt 😍 Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet und ebenso sauber. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt und die Aussicht ist einfach atemberaubend.

We had a wonderful stay with our family of 8 at the Villa. We were prepared for the little walk through the village to access the villa having watched the video that was in the villa manual that was provided in advance of our stay. The villa itself is immaculate and well equipped. We found the layout of the bedrooms and bathrooms to be ideal for 4 couples. The bedrooms had breathtaking views of Lake Como and the outside sitting areas were very private and also had great views. The pool was clean and easy to access providing a welcome cool down during hotter days. Maximillian was always available on WhatApp to answer any questions. The village itself is small and quaint - we had a nice rustic meal at the local restaurant and the owners were very hospitable. From the villa we drove down the hill to Menaggio where we got a ferry to explore the region. We hired two cars at Linate Airport & were able to explore easily. Highly recommend a stay at Familia Bremner villa. Thanks Ute & family

Die Ferienwohnung besticht durch ihre Lage mit einem tollen Ausblick auf den Comer See. Vor allem Terrasse, Pool und Garten drumherum sind liebevoll gestaltet - ein ruhiger und schöner Platz zum Wohlfühlen und Relaxen. Die Wohnung ist aber auch ansonsten ein guter Ausgangspunkt für unterschiedlichste Aktivitäten in der Umgebung und am See. Silvia hat uns herzlich aufgenommen und wir hatten jederzeit eine gute und schnelle Kommunikation.

We had a wonderful stay at Elena’s place in Lake Como! The view was absolutely breathtaking – even better than we expected – and the peaceful location made it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The neighborhood felt very safe, which gave us peace of mind throughout our stay. The home was exactly as pictured: clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully prepared. Everything we needed was there, and Elena was incredibly responsive and helpful any time we had a question. We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in one of the most beautiful parts of Italy. We can’t wait to come back!

This home was honestly such a dream! The host was easy to work with and provided a very helpful video for check in. The parking lot/suitable drop off point for a driver is a bit of a distance from the house, on a cobblestone walkway with stairs along the way. It was a lot of work to get my luggage to the house but SO WORTH IT! It’s absolutely gorgeous and as pictured. The outdoor areas are all stunning and lush - I loved sitting outside for coffee, breakfast, and watching the sunset in the evenings (but bring bug spray)! It rained most of my stay so I didn’t use the jacuzzi or outdoor shower much, but they were functional (I checked) and looked lovely. The ferry station and bus stops are about a 5 min walk away and a local market around 3 minutes away. The couple that owns the store was so sweet! I walked to 3 different restaurants nearby for dinner. They were within 3-15 minutes walking distance and wonderful food! This will absolutely be my first choice for a future Lake Como stay!

Gorgeous views and finishes in the home. The outside landscaping and pool area was very pretty as well.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the Sweet Escape. Innocenta and Fabio were very generous and hospitable. They picked us up from the bus station and gave us local recommendations. The place is clean and the AC works well in the bedroom. The location is incredible and you really can’t beat the views for the price. Varenna is a beautiful city, Innocenta and Fabio make it feel like home. Hopefully we will be back!

Anna’s place was wonderful for our family - we felt super comfortable and at home. We loved the view from each of the balconies, where we watched fireworks almost nightly. The kids loved playing in the yard and watching deer munch on grass in the yard at times. Anna went above and beyond for both us adults and the kids with little gifts upon arrival, which made us feel super welcome. The location was also perfect for a base to explore the region and access to restaurants was very convenient. We would definitely return and highly recommend Anna’s place for anyone looking for a place in the Como area. Thanks again Anna for your hospitality!

O. M. G. Andrea was the best host! When you think “host with the most” that’s him. He was the most responsive, kind, generous and amazing host we have ever encountered. The place was GORGEOUS. With the most wonderful view and right down the road was a perfect “beach” where we ate at a few times and spent the day to soak up the sun and water. He checked in on us every morning and evening making sure we didn’t need anything and offered the most generous things. We can’t wait to come back and visit Andrea and his beautiful home again. 10/10 recommend (even though this place is so perfect, part of me wants to gate-keep it 😉) BOOK THIS PLACE! Literal perfection.

We had the best time at the lake house! Everything was great and we loved swimming in the lake right after waking up or just whenever we felt like it! Maria is super nice and quickly responded to our messages.

Naomis Häuschen im Wald ist ein Traum! Mit allem ausgestattet was man benötigt, auch um selber zu kochen, und wunderschön gelegen. Naomi war super lieb und hat uns sogar ein kleines Willkommensgeschenk bereitgelegt! Alles in allem ein wunderbarer Ort um Sich zu entspannen, Lugano und Umgebung oder die umliegenden Berge zu erkunden! Wir kommen sicherlich wieder!

Świetne miejsce nie tylko do zwiedzania Lecco ale i całego jeziora Como. Mieszkanie było bardzo czyste i mieliśmy wszystko czego potrzebowaliśmy. Mogliśmy nawet nie brać tylu rzeczy ponieważ i tak robiliśmy pranie. Opcja samo zameldowania jest super. Dostaliśmy jasne instrukcje i cały pobyt był bardzo udany. Parking na przeciwko jest bardzo tani. Zdecydowanie polecamy ✌️

Our stay at Paolina’s home was absolutely blissful! As beautiful as the listing photos, they could not do justice to how gorgeous the home is. Every detail is so thoughtful and beautiful, from the windows to the linens. Paolina was so lovely, kind, and helpful during our stay and picked up our bags at the train station so we could explore the town before the house was ready for check-in! She also took all 6 of us to the train station when it was time to leave, gave us local recommendations, and spent time talking with us all on check-in. She was always very responsive via text, and connected us with a friend of hers who runs boat tours of the lake (a highlight of our entire time in Italy!). Every moment at the Green House was so peaceful, and the only thing I would change is that I wish our stay could have been 10x longer! I highly, highly recommend, and can’t wait to return someday!

The place is lovely and just as it looks in the pictures. We were traveling with four kids, and the house was spacious enough to meet all our needs. Parking in the village can be a bit challenging but you can always find a spot after a short wait of 10-15 minutes when someone leaves. There are several hiking trails around including a beautiful waterfall that's about an hour's walk from the house. The outdoor area features a grill and has a spectacular view, making it a peaceful and beautiful spot to relax. Jacqueline, our host, was very nice and helpful, living in the same house downstairs. We experienced some issues with the electricity failing a few times when the washing machine and oven were in use; however, with some care to avoid simultaneous usage, we could avoid this. Additionally, the Wi-Fi was a bit weak, and the 4/5G coverage was spotty in the area. Overall, it is a wonderful place with a supportive host, making it an excellent choice for a stay in the Como Lake area.

Ontzettend genoten van ons verblijf in Lecco bij Silvia en haar gezin. De accomodatie is schoon, volledig uitgerust en super modern. De tuin is ruim, biedt mogelijkheden voor kinderen om te spelen maar ook om gezellig een hapje te eten met een drankje erbij. Silvia en haar gezin waren attent, vriendelijk en dachten altijd mee met onze vragen. Bovendien hadden wij onze hond bij en ook hier werd super goed voor gezorgd en aan gedacht! De omgeving van Lecco is prachtig, de restaurants geweldig en de natuur adembenemend. Kortom, de vakantie en accomodatie is boven verwachting goed geweest tijdens ons verblijf van twee weken!

Picturesque setting! Villa felt like home!

Le logement de Said est véritable havre de paix où il fait bon de se reposer après une longue journée à explorer les environs. Les photos ne rendent pas justice au lieu, qui est décoré avec goût. Ses poutres en bois apportent énormément de charme et la salle de bain est incroyable. Les hôtes sont très attentifs, l’appartement est équipé pour vraiment se sentir à la maison: sèche cheveux, coton-tiges, fer à repasser… Said a même mis du très bon café à disposition, ma maman et moi avons grandement apprécié. La maison est extrêmement propre. Said et Dina sont d’une gentillesse extrême, Said est venu nous chercher à la station de bus et nous a également aidées à nous rendre à l’aéroport pour notre retour. Malgré les travaux sur la ligne de train cet été, le logement reste bien desservi grâce aux bus de remplecement. Des petites pentes à monter cependant, à prendre en compte si vous emmenez vos vieux parents et n’êtes pas véhiculés. Un grand merci à Said et Dina !!

Simona was an incredible host! We stayed at her home in Lake Como for our honeymoon and we could not have picked a better place- the house was beautiful with gorgeous mountain views and the area was quiet and peaceful. We took the ferry to get to more tourist-y locations, and Simona was wonderful about giving us recommendations for places to go and things to do both in the town we were staying in and around the lake. The house was clean and she even provided us with a couple of groceries and a pasta recipe. The location in Carate Urio is walkable, but you do have to get used to lots of stairs and walking on the side of roads. There are a couple restaurants and a small market that worked great for what we needed for the week since we traveled to different towns around Lake Como. Once you get used to the ferry system it's so easy to travel as the dock is only a ten minute walk. It was a perfect stay and I would most definitely recommend Simona's Casina delle Rose!

We had a great stay! Maria was incredibly attentive, easy to communicate with, and genuinely cared that we had a good experience—offering helpful advice and tips throughout our trip. The apartment itself was spotless, very comfortable, and well-organised. You can tell a lot of thought has gone into creating a welcoming space, and as a guest, you really benefit from the clear and well-kept rules. The location is also a major plus—there’s a metro stop right outside, which made getting around the city really convenient. Highly recommend!

Amazing apartment and amazing host. The apartment on a next level its very clean and big and has all the things you need and more. The details of arranging the apartment was spot on. Addition to that the hosts were very friendly and helpful from the moment we reached until we left. My family and i had a great time we will definitely book again in the same apartment if we come back to como.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour. Les instructions de Sara étaient précises et nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'accueil de Simonetta. La maison est très agréable et correspond en tout point à la description. La vue sur le lac est incroyable (terrasse et chambre) et l'environnement calme. La présence du jacuzzi pour se détendre après les journées à découvrir les villages autour du lac est un vrai plus. En voiture, l'accès à Bellagio et Côme se fait bien si on ne craint pas les routes un peu étroites.

Sara est une hôte formidable , elle a pris soin de nous . Concernant la maison : une maison exceptionnelle avec une vue inimaginable sur le lac . L’accès pour la baignade est fantastique . Je recommande
