The Thatch

AlasdairRating, 5 stars2 months ago
The Thatch is a delightful getaway on Tiree. It is in a secluded setting with a beautiful open outlook where if you’re lucky you’ll see hares running, great bird life and even an eagle perched on the fence post in our case. The cottage has been nicely renovated and is perfect for couples getaway, though the pull down sofa bed means you can have a third person along. The location is ideal for exploring all of Tiree’s beautiful beaches and nowhere is really very far away. Mark was a great host, always responsive and friendly in his communications. Would happily recommend.

Luxury Hut at Floyde's Farm

EddieRating, 5 stars2 days ago
An idyllic shepherd's hut which was perfect for two people looking to get a peaceful and scenic getaway! The livingroom, kitchen and bathroom were well equipped and bed was comfortable. We loved having the door open most of the time to enjoy the country views and highland cows! Angie was a responsive host, very kind and helpful, check in/check out was relaxed too. I will definitely come back again, thanks Angie and John!

Seeking a peaceful vacation I found it in this great spacious house. The water is outside my door. The yard with view of the cows was quaint when I sat outside to read. Next door neighbor Archie was friendly and welcoming. The house was clean and bed comfortable in the master bedroom with fantastic view of the water. I'll definitely be com8ng back.

Kilmoluaig Holiday Cottage

AudraRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Tiree is a fantastic place to visit if you love wildlife, and beaches. The cottage was the perfect location and was modern, clean and welcoming. We didn’t need any questions answering because Martin’s instructions were so clear but if we had, I have no doubt Martin would have responded quickly. He still checked in with us on messages, and reassured me I would hear Corncrake- which we did! And saw one too! We loved the cottage and loved Tiree.
An aerial view showcases a wide expanse of white sandy beach meeting the turquoise waters of the Atlantic Ocean. Lush green landscapes stretch along the coastline, with occasional white structures dotting the shore. The sky is bright with scattered clouds, creating a serene atmosphere.

Kirkapol Beach Apartment

EseRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had a wonderful time on Tiree! We stayed for four nights with our 1 year old toddler. The apartment is not only very beautiful and cozy but also largely baby-proofed. Kitchen is well equipped and spacious. Everything was perfectly clean! What we enjoyed most was the location which is nothing less than perfection. We loved being that close to the stunning and peaceful beach. The view from the living room as well as the terrace is amazing! We wish we could have stayed longer.
A bright and clean bathroom features a white sink and toilet, along with a standing towel rack. A circular mirror is mounted above the sink, and a light wood floor enhances the spacious feel. A door leads to another room, visible in the background.

Turas Beag

KatyRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Was our first visit to Tiree. We were a little caught out by lack of public transport. However Hana (and airport staff) was quick to help us out and sought transport for us. The house is in a beautiful spot and once we arrived we managed without a car due to easy access to beautiful beaches, supermarket and a restaurant. The house was super cosy, Hana responded quickly to any issues. The spare fold up bed was surprisingly comfortable. Plenty of hot water and a good shower. Sitting on the deck watching the sunset and rabbits jumping around is very memorable. Would recommend. All folk on Tiree super helpful and friendly!

2 bed house, sea views in Scarinish, Isle of Tiree

EmilyRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Our stay at Helen and Rupert’s home exceeded our expectations! The house was conveniently located (about a five minute walk from the ferry and 10-15 min to Scarinish). The views of the ocean and wandering sheep were an added bonus—beyond picturesque and peaceful! We felt right at home and Helen was extremely responsive and helpful, answering questions and giving us local recommendations. The beds were so comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked for cooking and the picnic table in the backyard was perfect for dinners enjoying the scenery and sounds of Tiree. We cannot recommend this listing enough and are counting down the days until we return!
