Vacation rentals with a kayak in Baja California Sur

I have nothing but good things to say about Don and Carla's place RIGHT on the beach! We brought two teenaged girls who were in heaven! We took advantage of the kayaks, paddle boards, pool table, pool, hot tub and the best of all the beach!! Everything was there that we needed and TBH you are a ways out there but we knew that going there from the other reviews but totally worth it!! We went snorkeling at Cabo Pulmo which is actually a national park and we had no idea. I highly recommend going if you're looking for something to do. We will definitely be going back. There is also a little hike to get your blood pumping right behind the house with amazing views!!!

Other people who have left reviews for this place less than four stars, I believe is completely unfair. This property offers top-notch value for what you get. Does the property have its faults? Absolutely. The kitchen faucet drips hot water no matter how hard you close the valves, and leaks underneath. This should be a relatively inexpensive and quick fix for a plumber. The hot tub heater stopped working for 2 days, but the on-site caretaker was able to get it back up and working. The oven dial was broken off. You can turn the oven on, but you don’t know the temperature. As long as you set your expectations that the place isn’t perfect and things are a bit in disrepair, this place is amazing! I would recommend to anybody. Where else are you going to get a place that accommodates this many people on the beach at this price?? The privacy offered by the villas was nice addition. The king bed was super comfy! I would hope that one day in the future we might return.

We had a beautiful vacation at Ronald's place. Cesar met us to check in and walk us through everything. It was clean, had everything we needed, and the views were incredible! We went fishing right off the beach every day, walked to the beach and restaurant, and enjoyed the hot tub and incredible views. Ronald was a very responsive host and we hope to come back again!

Lynn was proactive and provided clear instructions that made our arrival smooth and hassle-free. The place was spectacular—perfectly located and ideal for families or groups. It was spotless, comfortable, and quiet. I would return without hesitation and truly appreciate Lynn for always being attentive and available throughout our stay.

Truly Juan Carlos was the most communicative and pro-active owner of any AirB&B in all my years of using AirB&B. If cleanliness is a high priority, this is the place. If price is important for a low budget, this definitely is the place for you. He has maximized every aspect of the unit. There is nothing hidden or negative about the place. I see why every guest has given him a 5 rating. And why it has been rented to often. It is a gem for the money. Sincerely so.

Perfect location to everything, it is very close to the Marina and easily walkable to the main tourist area of town. We would definitely chose to stay here again when visiting Loreto.

If you are looking for a unique stay in the country, where you will be able to get in touch with nature, see more stars at night than you ever thought existed, and truly feel that you are part of the rich Baja vaquero culture, don't hesitate to book your adventure at Rancho Lorenzo. While it feels like it's worlds away in both eras and miles, it's actually just a bike ride from some great beach bars at Tecolote and is the closest vacation rental to one of the top 10 beaches in the world, Balandra. I highly recommend taking advantage of the meals that can be prepared for you, the food was delicious and the hospitality was top notch. It feels like a dude ranch from a bygone era, with modern touches and the friendliest staff. Plus you can be in the hustle and bustle of downtown La Paz in about 15-20 minutes driving, it's not far. Rancho Lorenzo truly is the perfect getaway for families, a women's retreat, reunion, or, in my case, a solo trip that was incredibly healing. Gracias RL team ❤

Cute place right on the beach. Simple casita with all the basic amenities - dishes, coffee maker (critical for our crew!), ample towels, comfy beds, and beautiful beach scenery. The spot is a little ways out of town - close enough for convenience but far enough to have peace and quiet.

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! The host’s communication was exceptional, quickly addressing minor issues with the bath and AC, ensuring our comfort. The house felt like home, with a fantastic location and incredible views. I’d definitely return! Highly recommend!
