Cottage vacation rentals in Bainskloof Pass

We stayed in the Tango cottage at De Wilge for three nights in late April as part of our family trip to the Nuy Valley, Worcester, and Robertson. We were so impressed by Amanda, our hostess, who was warm, friendly, and super knowledgeable about the area… She made excellent recommendations for local outings and she was so kind and welcoming! My wife loved the cottage’s beautiful and tasteful décor and our teenager couldn’t get enough of the hot tub and the stunning mountain views. All in all, a wonderful place to kick back, relax, and unwind. Thank you for having us, Amanda!

What a hidden gem! Steenbok Farm Cottages in Wolseley is the perfect escape for a peaceful, relaxing weekend. Beautifully maintained cottages, breathtaking mountain views, and such a tranquil farm atmosphere. Highly recommend for anyone needing a countryside getaway! See you soon for our Honeymoon!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We were a bit surprised by the 10km stretch of public dirt road leading to the farm — we had expected only a few kilometers of gravel once on the property — but it was still perfectly manageable with a sedan. The thoughtful touches on arrival really made us feel welcome: a chilled G&T, the hot tub already heated, and a freshly baked loaf of bread waiting for us. The game drive the next day was a highlight. Uncle Steve shared many fascinating, history-rich spots with us, making the experience both educational and memorable. Next time (when not pregnant!), we’ll definitely take advantage of the kayaking — the lakes are absolutely beautiful — and we’d love to stay longer, as the game drive takes up most of the day. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely weekend stay with loved ones as well as our beloved two dogs who had a lovely vsisit, felt like a visit to family home down memory lane. Loved the great fire place and lovely kitchen perfect for home cooking. Had a lovely restful visit enjoying books, and each others company with the songs of frogs in the back ground and a quick walk to the beach for the doggos to play. Thanks again.

We had a wonderful stay at Lonette’s place. The house is well equipped with everything you need. The aircon and pool were lovely as it was super hot! Our dog was also welcome which was an extra bonus! Lonette’s communication was excellent and check-in was easy. Thank you, Lonette!

A lovely stay at the Mountain Spring cottage. The cottage was even better than the photos and the description. It was well equipped (loved the braai) and clean upon arrival. Close to the cottage are a number of walking trails that can be explored either up the mountain or through the orchards - all boasting great views of the the mountains in the area. It was a peaceful setting for a weekend away. All of the staff were helpful, responsive and friendly. I would definitely recommend this!

Loved the lookout! Cozy with an amazing view. So clean and cute little touches and nice art. Good garden birdwatching too :) Well appointed and quiet neighborhood- We slept so well! I will definitely stay here again when we return!

10/10 spot in gardens! Super cozy and has everything you would need. Private and tucked away in the back, fast WiFi, comfy bed, good kitchen and 3 lovely dogs on the property 🥹 super close to Resturant’s and main action, but tucked away where it feels private Molly is so kind and welcoming, she made the stay effortless and I can’t wait to come back . Don’t miss this gem!

Great little cottage in Greyton. It has everything you need for a stay. Very quiet. Nice fireplace for cold nights. Area is very walkable and has many nice restaurants and shops.

I have been to many hotels and appartments all over the world: This one is the winner in the category "Unusual and spectacular"! The view is unbeatable and the place has a very relaxed atmosphere. Keep in mind, two of the beds are upstairs with a very steep ladder, we decided to not use them and sleep downstairs in the main living room. Also bring some earplugs, the sea can be very noisy, the appartment is just a stone-throw away. All in all: 5*****

We spent 3 blissful days Ilah's place. An idyllic location with stunning views of the ocean and the mountain. The house was well maintained and very well equipped. Ilah was responsive and accommodating when we needed to change dates. We do not hesitate in recommending Ilah's place, if you are looking for peace, beauty, ease and a homey feeling.

My boyfriend and i went here for our anniversary and it exceeded our expectations, the best cabin we have been to yet! Absolutely breathtaking and such a beautiful place to go and relax.

What a pleasure to spend a few days in this beautiful house - top notch location with a breathtaking view over the ocean, fantastic terrace for morning coffee and evening sunsets, and perfectly situated for walks down to the beach or along the mountain paths above. Kids loved visits from the baboons and we spent hours around the dining table playing board games and enjoying the views. House has everything you need, hosts are fabulous and Pringle Bay is treat - cannot recommend this place enough!

We can't say enough good things about Hope Cottage in Constantia. It was absolutely perfect. Lucia is a joy and a great source of information about local restaurants and activities. She has thought of everything from the smallest details to making sure we were well taken care of. The cottage is stunningly designed. We did not want to leave.

The photos doesn't do the place justice. The absolute beauty of this place and surroundings are astonishing. 31 on Witzenberg is something everyone should experience once in their lives. Since we entered the property it felt like home. The cottage is so cozy and it had everything that we need. Afternoons at the braai watching the sunset are out of this world. It gave us the best of both worlds, the springboks and zebra roaming freely and also the serenity and peacefulness that gives an spiritual encouragement that was needed. Our hosts were exceptional, Polly and Jane. Thank you for allowing us in your space. May you continue to do good and may you prosper in everything you do.

We loved our stay at Hanepoot cottage. Rina provides everything you need from extra blankets to firewood to tea and coffee, milk and water. Beds were comfy and the shower great. We loved the location, such great views of the mountains. We had a little trouble with the WiFi which Rina tried her best to resolve, but I would suggest making sure you have mobile data just in case you need it. Overall a fantastic stay and highly recommend.

Very nice place to stay, nice pool to relax in. We didn’t have chance to use the sauna or hot tub but very fine facilities to have available.

Ferdi and Melissa’s place exceeded all of our expectations! They went over and above to accommodate our needs and situation. This place is better than the pictures. And the location is prime! We would stay here again 10 times over. Ferdi helped with the fireplace on multiple occasions. If you’re staying in the winter, the only thing might be that there is no central heat, however, the fireplace is just the perfect touch for the place. If you’re looking for a high level stay with high level hosts and picturesque views, then this is the place for you!
