The landlord Sarita is very friendly and kind, with an angelic smile. She provided a lot of local travel tips and took me to many local activities. She can provide meals at any time, which is just as comfortable as living at home, This is the warmest family hostel I have ever stayed in, Thanks a lot for Sarita did for me. Will stay again when I back from Pokhara .

Laxman was incredibly welcoming and helpful. As soon as we were near he came down the hill to pick up our bags. The room is gorgeous and the location peaceful and away from crowds. A very local experience. Laxman couldn’t do enough for us and his family are delightful. Highly recommended.

The apartment is great, very clean, really spacious and we had our own kitchen. It's not too far from the centre (Thamel) but far away enough to feel a bit more peaceful! We were very grateful to be looked after by Kalpana when we fell sick, she cooked us some lovely breakfasts and dinners and got us some medicines etc. Ram and Kalpana have a lovely family and we enjoyed being invited up to share food and see the children. We would recommend to stay here 100%. Thanks again Ram and Kalpana!

We had an amazing time at Babu's and Belku's homestay. They welcomed us as part of their family from the first day, offering help and advice with any issues we encountered, organizing trekking (day and week-long), and taking us with them for local festivities. They had great internet, video calls worked very well. The rooms had great views across the mountains next door or the green hill sides of Kirtipur and were exceptionally clean. We spent a lot of time reading and relaxing on one of the balconies or the big sun terrace. Before our trip we were hesitant whether staying with a local family would be too intense but we are so glad we decided to do so. You are free to move in the homestay as if it was your home, engaging with the family as much or as little as you want, but trust us you will look very much forward to participating in the family life, learning how to cook as amazingly as Belku does, learning Nepali with Babu, or just talking about everyday life with them. This is our second time in Nepal and only now we feel like we have experienced it for real. The deep insights into Nepali culture, cuisine, and daily life we got in this homestay you cannot get when staying in Thamel. You can visit Kathmandu with a short taxi ride but we were always glad to escape the busy city to the relaxing green rice fields of Kirtipur. It is not overstated to say our stay was a lifetime experience. We greatly recommend to stay with Babu, Belkin, and Aayush.

I stayed one month at the apartment. It is in a great location, remote from the main roads noise and dust. The room is very clean, it is exactly like in the pictures. The internet is fast, breakfast is great, it is a really nice place to stay if you visit Kathmandu, I would recommend it to anyone.

Pool Table: One unique feature that stands out is the free pool table! It’s a great way to unwind and spend some fun, relaxing time with fellow travelers. 4. Food: The meals served here are amazing, thanks to Bishnu’s wife, Laxmi. From delicious traditional Nepali dishes to satisfying breakfasts, the food is fresh, homemade, and absolutely delightful. Overall, Bishnu Homestay combines genuine hospitality, excellent amenities, and a warm atmosphere to create a truly memorable stay. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Pokhara.

Absolutely loved this stay in the heart of Thamel - kathmandu's trendy district. The rooms were cosy and well equipped. There is a well decor'd rooftop space that it's super chill; we spent a lot of time there. Amit, the owner, was a fun conversationalist and we thank him for hanging with us. Thanks Amit for having us at our fun hotel!

I had an amazing experience at Pande's guesthouse! He is super responsive in communication and always have his guests' best interests. I was here during the coronavirus lockdown, so it was a strange time. Pande always made sure we have food to eat and that our needs are met. I really appreciated that! He gave a lot of good local tips and often invited me along to events with his friends. The guesthouse is in a really good location in Sanepa. This is a very quiet neighborhood with a lot of nice local restaurants around. The guesthouse is attached to Chimes restaurant, which I can truthfully say has some of the best food I've had in Nepal. I really like being able to go downstairs and eat in the outdoor courtyard. Overall, I've had a really great experience and I was happy to be here during this difficult time.

all the staff was unbelievably kind and outgoing. the location is great. quiet but in the middle of town. the bed was uncomfortable. some firm spots and some super soft spots. the wifi was good enough to video call but sometimes spotty. the water pressure was good. no water heater. this room is on the 3rd floor with no elevator. breakfast was included and good. its a budget room for sure. still worth the price. no balcony.

Hotel Nepalaya is the geographical location is very good. It is convenient to go anywhere. It belongs to the hustle and bustle, and the service is also very good. At that time, when I made a reservation, I communicated with them in advance that I needed a pick-up service. They immediately arranged and picked us up at the hotel smoothly. The front desk was also very warm. The buffet breakfast was very rich every morning. The room was clean and tidy, but the room arranged twice was basically not exposed to the sun. The scenery on the top floor was great.

We had a very nice stay at the Family Peace Hotel and will take the hotel into consideration for our next visit to Kathmandu.

Great journey thanks to Sumit and his family! They are very welcoming and lovely, they help you with any problems. You can manage activities directly with them for Chitwan Park which is very practical. It’s a family that is open handed and knows how to make you feel good. Thank you to them for all of this 🙏!

Hari and his family are great hosts. They were really friendly and we really enjoyed spending time with them. Our 5 year old son loved to spend time with Hari's son who was really protective and caring. Also, the room is great, spacious and clean. And the location of Hari's place is ideal to visit Bhaktapur. If we ever come back in this beautiful city, we would love to stay again with them.

This place was very peaceful and clean. I felt right at home. The bed and sheets were cleaned and it’s a place that’s well maintained. 💖

Bestest stay till date and except everything the host Anushka is nice and cooperative....Uncle and aunt never let me felt that I am a guest and before ending I bet the breakfast which I had there is enough for entire day for anyone and the variety of fruits can bring smile on anyone's face...Thanks Anushka thanks Again

This was one of the highlights of my trip to Nepal. You walk down a path from the busy street and land in this oasis. A true secret garden on the lake, with birdsong everywhere. It's so welcoming. Miranda is kind and helpful and made me feel so at home. I woke up early to sit on the balcony, listen to the birds, hang with their friendly cat, and watch the light hit the mountains and lake. There's plenty of privacy. You can feel your heart slow down in this place. Also.. even if you don't stay here overnight, visit The Secret Garden. The hummus and vegetables... delicious. The ginger chocolate chip cookies are too good. I drank tea for hours here under the trees. They have a quiz night, which seems to draw all the eclectic, creative folks making lives in Pohkara. The room was spotless, including the bathroom. Everything clean and tidy, with plenty of offers of help, if you need anything. Miranda has built this hideaway with such care and love.

Staying at the Bansbari Inn was paradise! The room was spacious, cozy and very clean. We woke up with the birds chirping and a fresh coffee delivered to our room. The food served by the very attentive staff is delicious. You can relax in the beautiful garden or play chess in the comfy sofa room. Even more outstanding is the hospitality of the host: Amrit. He fulfilled every wish that we had and made us feel at home.

Umika, Lee, Unisha and Yogi’s stay is an excellent place to experience true Nepali life. The location is wonderful: a stunning view that stretches until the river. At the riverside you’ll be astonished by the mountain view. The house is at the end of the village street, but at the beginning of the acres of the village. Expect livelihood (especially in furtile season) animals, chatter, sounds of school buses filling the air. Tall people: watch out: the entrance door is a bit low. You will have your own toilet area. Shared shower indoors. We had an excellent time, since the family truly knows what hospitality means. We were delighted with our walks, games with the kids, relaxing and enjoying the lovely area. A big plus is the most kind dog in the world: lily!
