We loved staying here! It was an easy walk to local activities, as well as close by for a late night grocery stop. The area felt very safe and private with the gate, and the beds were very comfortable and clean. We only wished we could have stayed longer!

A clean home with plenty of beds for my family of 6. We enjoyed the pool, the views, and the sounds of birds and howler monkeys in the morning. It is quite remote feeling, but still reasonably close to Rincón de la Vieja National Park and the nature activities of Curabande. Thanks for a relaxing stay.

We just got back from 8 days throughout Costa Rica and Agutipaca Bungalows was our last stop. Our only regret was that we didn’t stay here longer. We truly felt like a welcomed guest on their well loved property. We were greeted and offered a nature walk by Angie. We saw more on this walk than we did with our paid guides. Her knowledge was amazing, and her excitement to share it with us was so genuine. We saw sloths, sleeping kinkajous, and toucans. The owners also showed us aspects of their property, the different fruit trees, flowers, and birds Our bungalow was immaculate. Plenty of room, and all necessary utensils. Loved the view and hammock. The bathroom and table had beautiful fresh flowers from the garden. They provided coffee, milk, and deliver a delicious fresh made breakfast (fresh juice, fruit, and a main) to your room. The grounds were beautiful, with trails along the river, a garden, fruit trees and even Ceiba tree. We loved our stay and are already planning returning!

Gaetan was lovely, despite the rain, unsafe conditions and rincon being closed. He helped us get in and out safely and provided us peace of mind staying there for the night. The cabin was really cute and quaint. Everything you need, no frills and homey. Please bear in mind the road up can be a bit dicey, but we were driving in the rain with a 2x4. This place would be awesome to explore Rincon, will definitely come back when it is open!

Lawton's place by far was one of the highlights of our vacation! The ranch is so peaceful. We were able to watch it being worked & got to freely walk around, feed the horses, partake of the fresh fruits left for us, as well as off the trees, and take in the beauty. We had our privacy but also got to meet some of the staff & family there and they were all so welcoming and made us feel at home. One gentleman even pointed out a flat tire we had & helped us with it! The distance from the city was perfect to have our peace and quiet, yet close to restaurants and shopping. We thoroughly took advantage of the area, soaking in the beauty of this region of Costa Rica. If you are considering staying in the Liberia area, we would highly recommend staying here!
