Hello Jean, our stay went very well and we enjoyed your accommodation. I think you should improve the showers because the electricity is not safe, repair the washing machine that does not work, otherwise the rest was perfect, barbecue and pool at the top. Very comfortable bedding and clean and very well located accommodation. I highly recommend it. Thank you so much for hosting.

Hacienda in Los Volcanes, a retreat with amazing views

This place is absolutely stunning. Out of the whole region, it was by far the most beautiful. The hosts are kind, friendly, and responsible — they offer breakfast or dinner upon request. The house is located in a very quiet and remote area, exactly what we were looking for. We enjoyed walks around the nearby surroundings and even hiked up a hill with views of several volcanoes. The house itself is very clean, everything inside is new and well-maintained. A tree near the house attracts a variety of birds — even more species than we saw in the national parks! We also had horses come right up to the house, which was magical. Everything was perfect. Just one note: there are some dogs on the property that roam freely and might bark at guests, so if you're uncomfortable around dogs, it's something to keep in mind. Also, the location shown on the Airbnb map is not accurate, and it was difficult to find the place at first. Be sure to message the hosts in advance and ask for Google map point

Casa Tenorio is a hidden gem. We loved the home though our stay was short. The outdoor facilities are excellent. The neighbors were kind to us. If you are looking for a place to land to see the sites or a place to nest to enjoy the home, Casa Tenorio is one nice home!

The accommodation is very well and practically equipped. Communication with Helen was very good, she always responded quickly. From afar, you could hear some howler monkeys. The property is about 10 minutes from Bagaces, a car is recommended. Palo Verde National Park can be reached in 30 minutes by car. We definitely recommend the place and would come back again.

Diego is a fantastic host. His place right off the highway, so very easy to get to. He kept his place in impeccable condition, it was actually much better than it looked in photos (Diego, you might consider hiring a professional photographer to take some photos). He is very responsive, and tried his best to help. Other than a slight issue with the door lock (the door needs a bit forceful push to be able to lock or open) and a slight language barrier with Diego, everything else was as good as they could be. I would highly recommend his place to anyone interested.

Wow, wow, wow, what an amazing place/property! My family of 4 stayed here while exploring Rio Celeste and we loved every second of it. Walking over the bridge to access the house is like crossing a moat to your own castle. The HUGE fish in the pond were so fun to watch. The deck provided a great area for yoga/workout in the morning. We looked for frogs at night and didn't have to go more than 50 feet from the house to find 4 different species of frogs. My kids loved saying hi to the chickens on property as well! If you're in the area, you have to stay here. It's truly gorgeous!
