A peaceful setting with direct access to footpaths & cycle routes. A 5 min stroll to the White Horse Inn via footpath & 30min drive to the coast. We began the conversion work in 1995. The property sits in 5.5 acres of garden, surrounded by farmland. We are 5 miles north of the historic town of Framlingham & 16 miles from Suffolk's Heritage Coast. It's a peaceful, tranquil, relaxing, quiet getaway. Situated deep in the Suffolk countryside, The Carter's Loft is a beautifully presented studio bursting with charm. The popular local pub (White Horse) offers good food and local beer. There are numerous footpaths on the doorstep, a community cafe selling homemade cakes and refreshments (open 10.30 - 12.30 Wed - Thurs, occasional Sundays and some super evening events) plus our local vineyard. We are close to historic Framlingham and within easy reach of the heritage coast.

A compact value for money, basic, clean, comfortable and well equipped cottage. NOTE: shower over bath, one double bed is small 4ft double. No pets, Non-Smoking. Check-out 1000. It is RURAL, the pubs have varied opening hours, we get country insects. WiFi 🛜 access & phone signal varies. TV free-view not Smart, 2 vehicles. Long life milk in case you forget supplies. The nearest shop is 5 miles. I do my best to point all of this out. Cleaning charge added per stay.

Our guests love the space in The Cowshed, an open plan area for just the two of you, loads of worktop and cupboard space for the preparation of meals and storage of your provisions. Upper Alde Barn is a luxury barn conversion within the grounds of Dernford Hall, set in 32 acres of Private Nature Reserve this is a truly peaceful getaway with landscaped private river walks. The barn contains a stunning galleried bedroom overlooking the dramatic lounge area complete with oak beams and an open fireplace. Private enclosed garden great for those with dogs. The only noise is the sound of birdsong.

Tucked away but within a short walk of the market hill and Framlingham Castle yet only 25 minute drive from the coast. Our recently converted ground floor annexe has a Retro-Scandinavian feel comprising double bedroom with en-suite shower room and living area with sofabed and bespoke fitted kitchen. Guests will have use of part of the south facing garden and parking for one vehicle is in a shared driveway.
