The gateway to the Elz Valley in the Black Forest and the world-famous Glotter Valley is the small “Slow City” Waldkirch. In the suburb of Buchholz, ANNAS SCHEUNE is located in the middle of the old town center. A 2016 organically loft-like renovated farmhouse with several outbuildings from the 17th century. The decor with antiques, design classics and custom-made furniture completes the modern country style of the barn. As this house was renovated looking after the design and the details and also with some technical refinements, i am looking forward to welcome you into this cozy home.

Mettlenhof or the Mettlen Farm is a hand built, restored farmhouse in Mettlen, Schopfheim, Baden Württemberg. Rebuilt by the hosts with traditional craft and natural materials, it’s a light filled home for up to 10 guests, with floor to ceiling windows over rolling hills, Icelandic horses and Scottish Blackface sheep. Ideal for group getaways and retreats with no noise limitations or as a base to explore the Black Forest and the nearby borders of Germany, Switzerland and France.

The 50 square meter wooden house is in a quiet location on the outskirts and was awakened from its Sleeping Beauty slumber with a lot of love for detail. Der Schwarzwald-Nationalpark ist nur 20 Minuten entfernt. Das Häuschen ist hochwertig ausgestattet, im Winter brennt der Pelletofen mit behaglicher Flamme, Ein Sitzplatz auf dem Winzergrundstück laden ein um ein Glas Wein bei Sonnenuntergang zu geniesen

Come and recharge your batteries in our perched cabin (not accessible to people with reduced mobility, miller's ladder) with views of our miniature goats, our mini ponies, our pig, total disconnection but with very good network coverage (just in case)😀. Guests can enjoy a real SPA on the deck of the cabin. ⚠️ The cabin is not suitable for infants. 20 min from Strasbourg, 15 min from Haguenau, 10 min from Germany.
