Family-friendly vacation rentals in Bad Goisern am Hallstättersee

Booked last minute and available by chance. Beautiful villa with all comforts, underfloor heating in the living/dining room, wonderful sauna and spacious jacuzzi, good beds, near the slopes and a 12-minute drive from Katschberg Höhe. With 8 adults and a child of 7, more than enough space. Also recommended in the spring, summer or autumn season. In any case, we'd love to come back again.

We had a wonderful week. The cottage run by Maikel and Britt is beautiful and very well located in a mid-mountain setting (1350 m) located at the foot of the Hochkönig in a bucolic and relaxing setting. Maikel and Britt are very welcoming and friendly, always available for good advice. The cottage is very clean, spacious, well-equipped and tastefully decorated. The sauna is very useful after a good walk. The village of Mühlbarch am Hochkönig is located 5 km down in a small valley in the center of many hikes and also a family ski resort. We recommend it.

Great, modern accommodation, excellent natural location and very well equipped. We plan to come back!

Stefan was very kind, we could call him any time when we had some problame. He tried to help us solving problames. The appartment has a perfect view for the mountains, it was in a good location. I can only recommend this appartment to everybody

A beautiful, large, comfortable, quiet well-stocked and relaxing space in a gorgeous setting, exactly like in the photos. Christine is an experienced, kind-hearted and warm host who greeted us warmly and took a lot of time to introduce us to the area. She even and drove us around to point out sights, restaurants and parking. We could easily take a 30 min bus right into Salzburg one day and also drive to a choice of beautiful lakes, in addition to many nearby sights and hikes.

We had a great weekend at Villa Traunseeblick. Herta, our host, graciously accepted our last minute booking. The apartment was very clean, well equipped with everything you needed and had an amazing outdoor space to relax and enjoy views of the lake. It was very comfortable and just what we needed. The accommodation is perfect! There are all kinds of amenities, enough space and everything is clean. The sauna and jacuzzi are an absolute highlight and very easy to use. The accommodation is super cozy. I can recommend it to everyone.

An absolute stroke of luck! We enjoyed our time very much and were able to unwind wonderfully. The great meadow with the many, many flowers and herbs behind the cottage, the nice animal neighbors, the beautiful view, the great oven/ stove and last but not least Marianne, the wonderful hostess! Breitmoos is a charming, quiet hamlet, fantastic views and great hiking trails directly from the cozy apartment. You can't get more Bavaria :-) Also a paradise for dogs - but on a leash, as the property is open. Ralf is a very friendly and communicative host. It was a really nice stay.

We had a very nice week at Betty's house. The view from the terrace is phenomenal! The beds are extremely comfortable. The kitchen is equipped with everything. There were more than enough towels available. We can imagine coming back again. It is certainly charming in all seasons!🤩

There were three of us in the accommodation and we were very satisfied. You have enough space and everything you need. A highlight is the great hostess Gisi and the fantastic view.

The apartment was beautiful. The views were great from everywhere in the home. The beds were the best I’ve slept on since being in Europe for over a year. The kitchen supplies for cooking were great and easy to use. The only drawback back was since we are not accustomed to how the TV and cable works we were never able to get it to turn on. But the WiFi was great so we just watched movies on our iPads. The apartment was pretty centrally located to where we wanted to go and there were lots of books and pamphlets on attractions in the area. I would only recommend the owners place an informational book or guide in the home for anyone not from Austria. Otherwise the apartment was amazing and worth it.

We had a great stay, the appartment had plenty of room to relax in, a nice kitchen with plenty of the basic supplies. Very clean, very cosy, lots of nice little touches much more space and personable than a hotel room. Parking space right outside, easy to follow instruction for checking in and out! close to all the shops and nightlife. Five minute walk to the gondola, great little find, would come back and stay here again in a heart beat. Thank you.

Renate gave me all the information you could need in advance. Communication with her was great and the apartment very sweet with everything you could need. The location was perfectly quiet and a great starting point for hikes in the area. Even for my dog, there were treats, a bowl and a towel. Loved it.

Everything was as described, we felt very comfortable!

We had a great time in the apartment! Everything was super clean and very well equipped. The pool was particularly convenient in the same building. The location is great – in a few minutes you will be at the lake or at the Schafbergbahn. Ideal if you like to hike or just enjoy nature. Check-in was totally straightforward and the host was super helpful – with lots of great tips for excursions and restaurants around. The view from the balcony to the mountains was also particularly beautiful – simply fantastic. We would come back anytime!

The apartment is quietly and easily accessible, lovingly and modernly furnished and leaves nothing to be desired. We felt at home with Ann from the first moment and enjoyed staying with her very much! Ann is a wonderful hostess, she always shared with us when we had questions, she even made an appointment for the vet at her doctor's office for us when our dog needed it. Katrin's place is great for a getaway. She made us feel right at home quickly and provided lots of recommendations in the area. We will have to visit again as there were so many nice things to do. The house was cosy and the outdoor space was great to relax.

Very very spacious house and property. Easy to park. Lots to do for kids. Nice and quiet but close to the airport and also some nice restaurants near by. Would have liked something for mosquitoes as there are a lot, so bring something along.
