We completely fell in love with Valencia and already know we’ll be back. It’s a magical place — in just 15 minutes on a motorbike you’re in the cool, peaceful mountains, and 15 minutes in the other direction takes you to beaches with amazing snorkeling. Amir’s family made us feel truly at home. Their kindness and warmth were felt in every little detail. Whenever we needed something, they responded with care and made everything easy. There’s a sense of harmony and coziness in their home that stays with you. The cottages are spacious, modern, and thoughtfully designed — we especially loved the big TV for cozy evenings. The kitchen has everything you need to cook, and the local market and shops are just around the corner.

LOCATION Hidden secret of Negros Oriental. BEAUTIFUL home. I say home becouse it feels personal not just a house. Large home. Maybe 170 sq meter ? Amazing floor plan. Every aspect of comfort was thought of. Very tastefully decorated. Probably the best I ever saw for an Air B and B. Open floor plan. Amazing kitchen with many cabinets and BEAUTIFUL large granite counter tops. Two bathrooms. One with a bath and water heater. Open outdoor in the front with huge bamboo trees providing shade breeze and coolness. Large new t v. Very nicely decorated. Owner rep is very accommodating and helpful. She offered to clean the house and it felt refresh after it. AC in the bedroom works very well and is very quiet. There are additional two portable large and very effective new fans as well as a third ceiling fan in the living room. What a fantastic few days we got to spend in Valencia. Elah Mae was brilliant, made us feel right at home and the brewery next door serving fantastic Mexican food was an added bonus. Beautiful view on the lookout and couldn’t have asked for more!

We loved our stay at Ziva’s crib. We would have stayed longer if our travel plans permitted. Rosalie and Marcus have a beautifully landscaped space, surrounded by the picturesque mountains of Negros. The apartment had everything you need and was our most comfortable stay in the Philippines by far. Rosalie was also super responsive and helped us organise our scooters and transport to and from the property. Ziva’s crib is about a 10 minute drive from downtown Dauin, where there is an abundance of (very good) restaurants and bars to choose from. As long as you have your own wheels, the property is very accessible.
