Was great all around It was last minute booking for us and though it is remote and may be a little difficult to find but it was definitely worth it. A corner of calm and beauty. The house is just lovely. Each space is tastefully decorated, combining the rustic with the cozy, the natural with the functional. You can see the care in every detail: from the furniture to the lighting, everything invites you to feel comfortable and in peace. It's fully stocked, we didn't need anything. The kitchen, the common areas, the rooms... everything is designed so that you can enjoy without worrying about anything. The rooftop is a real privilege: spacious, private, and with a view that offers memorable moments. And access to the beach, so close, makes every day a unique experience. A perfect stay in every way. We would definitely be back.

Clean and comfortable space, located right by the beach near the end of the malecon. Quiet and peaceful surroundings, the unit I stayed in was on the ground floor, the pictures and description were accurate. The bed was a little firm but other than that it was a great place to stay the night in Mauhual!

The location is great, a bit away from the hustle and bustle of the cruise ships. The view was amazing. The staff diligently kept the grounds and beach clean and maintained. The pool was lovely.

This is the second time I have stayed at this place and I plan to return, it has everything my family and I need to be comfortable and have a pleasant vacation. And the host is always attentive to any questions you may have. Thank you for everything.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Everyone who works there is so friendly and very helpful. The food in the little restaurant is made with love, always consistent, and very delicious! The views from our room were stunning! The location is a bit remote but the hotel offers taxi communication right from the start, and it is very reliable. The room was also well protected from mosquitos, which was pleasantly surprising. We loved this little, Mexican family-owned spot.

What a magical place - surrounded by the jungle on one side and the laguna on the other, it is truly secluded. The cabaña is beautifully made, and the communal area is welcoming and cozy. The presence of a SUP and kayak was the icing on the cake! The only downside is the terrible state of the access road - don’t try it with a regular car!

Very nice place to get away from the hustle and recharge. The hosts were kind and the atmosphere was friendly. The sky was just astounding!!! Shooting stars (while we're out of season), March, coming and Milky Way very visible ⭐️ Beautiful reef for self-contained snorkling 10 minutes walk to the left of the beach. My only downside would be that the kitchen lacked utensils (only one cutting board for 7 homes, for example). Otherwise, I would recommend this little corner of tranquility.

The cabin had a wonderful view to the Bacalar Lagoon. From the property, you could directly access the lagoon for swimming and enjoying its crystal clear waters. The place was very quiet and the hosts were always attentive to everything we needed, being very friendly at all times. The surroundings were extremely quiet, allowing you to relax and fully enjoy the place. Definitely a highly recommended place to stay for those looking for a serene destination with an impressive nature. It is important to note that the road to the cabin can be a little tricky, with branches, potholes and slopes that can represent a challenge. Therefore, it is recommended to arrive in an own vehicle to be able to access without problems. Also, it is recommended to bring the food and insect repellent as there are several mosquitoes in the area. Overall, it's a great option for those who want to get away from the hustle.

Great place right near town, yet still quiet. The hosts were extremely accommodating and made this trip special. I will be back!

The place is amazing, I booked this Airbnb for my mom and her partner and they had an excellent time, the communication with the host was perfect, they were always on the lookout for them to arrive safely and I would definitely recommend it!
