Nestled serenely on the edge of woodland is this 19th century blacksmiths building. It has been sympathetically renovated and brought back to life with style at the forefront, whilst keeping every unique feature in tact. We have taken advantage of the high ceiling with an incredible mezzanine bedroom with kingsize bed and installed a log burner for added comfort during the colder months. The Ashmore is a beautiful log cabin settled in the Embank forest. Made from the Ash and Sycamore trees from the surrounding woodland. Log burner to keep you cosy throughout the cooler months. There's lighting but no electricity/please bring battery banks to charge phones. No shower. Chemical loo and compost loo. Cooking facilities: gas stove and a fire pit/bbq. Tap for fresh water No smoking inside the cabin. Wellies and walking boots advised in winter.

Built 100 years ago for a family that worked on the estate, Lyth Cottage sits at the edge of parkland with views across open fields to the Welsh hills. The 1-storey peaceful cottage has 1 double and 1 twin bedroom with additional single bed if required. The bathroom has a walk-in shower and the kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher and washer/dryer. It has a small garden with seating. Ellesmere is a 1.5m drive, or a 1m walk/cycle along the canal towpath.

A unique lovingly renovated hideaway, very convenient for anyone visiting the town of Oswestry. Three minutes walk to the park, the ancient Church and Heritage Centre. The town has many restaurants, pubs and cafes, galleries and other attractions.
