Nina is a great host. We absolutely enjoyed our stay at her place. This is the best place to take time out and relax, we didn’t do much but it felt so good to just relax. The space is homey and well equipped for a nice braai. I honestly enjoyed being at the farm. Nina gave us clear instructions on how to get there and this was helpful since the road is still being developed. I’d advise that you buy food and drinks in Hermanus before arriving at the place this will ensure that you enjoy your time at the accommodation. If you need time out of the city to relax or write or just read this is the place to be! So refreshing

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Brown Dog Farm, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, we felt at home. The owner, Trevor, was incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. He really went above and beyond to make our visit special. The house itself is stunning—spacious, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the amenities you could ask for. It’s clear that a lot of care and attention went into every detail of the property. The peaceful surroundings made for a relaxing atmosphere, and we enjoyed spending time both inside and out. Whether you’re looking to relax and unwind or explore the area, Brown Dog Farm is the perfect place to do so. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a serene and memorable getaway. A breathtaking stay with amazing views to an accommodating and an ever assisting host, I booked this stay purely based on the picture for my husbands birthday and him needing some time away on our own, this place more than just delivered, to the drive in just before sunset with an amazing view of the farm and the mountains from the top of the container to the mystical nights in the hot tub with fairy lights, or the shower opening up to the bushes, this more than just delivered in tranquil and serene environments to my husband feeling rejuvenated and not wanting to leave. A great escape from the urban stresses with everything one needs. The only criticism i can mention is that the container could be a bit bigger, but everything else more than delivers. We will definitely be returning to this special cabin.

Thank you for a fantastic stay! So relaxing - beautiful big balcony to spend the day reading, watching the horses, braai'ing and swimming in the wood fire hot tub. Kitchen has everything that you need, and the house in general is very well equipped.
