La chambre est très grande avec une porte patio qui donne sur la terrasse et le jardin. Nous avons bien aimé de manger dehors avec les chats. La cuisine est bien équipé pour se préparer un repas. Il y des épiceries, cafés, restaurants tout proche. Margarida est une hôtesse extraordinaire qui connaît bien son île. Merci mille fois pour la belle semaine !

Super sejour, idealement placé pour decouvrir la ville et ses environs. Cuisine à disposition et petit dejeuner de qualité avec des produits locaux. Thé et café à volonté toute la journée. Haben uns hier gleich wie zuhause gefühlt! Es ist alles fußläufig zu erreichen. Es war alles ordentlich und sauber. Morgens auf der Dachterrasse frühstücken war herrlich. Wir würden sofort wieder kommen. Zusätzlich ist Margarida eine total herzliche Frau, die immer gute Tipps weiß und die besten Empfehlungen hat!

We only stayed for one night, but we enjoyed the place very much! The staff were all super nice and gave us good tips for the surrounding areas. The suite exceeded our expectations and everything was super clean and cozy! The breakfast is absolutely worth the money. We would come here again any time.

Maria is an incredible host. The house is a b&b with various rooms. We had the ground floor room and had a lot of privacy. The mornings were amazing with the breakfasts prepared by Maria and Dina. we loved the little village and the surroundings. We would love to come back!

To say the Vagabond Mermaid is one of the best, if not THE best on the list of places that I've stayed at would be a huge understatement. I can't possibly put into words about what a positive and exceptional experience it was to stay at Vanessa's home. Where to start? First, Charlie is just the sweetest and so precious. Not so secret, half of the reason I booked the place was because of Charlie! Secondly, Vanessa goes above and beyond to make you feel at home. She has now set the bar so high for future host experiences. Not only does she lovingly put out breakfast every morning, she makes every effort to know every guest and give exceptional recommendations and suggestions on things to do and eat on the island. Not once did I feel like I was a stranger in Vanessa's home. It felt so cozy that now I'm homesick, not for home but for Vagabond Mermaid! I'll be sure to come back again, not just because for the beauty of the Azores, but Vanessa, Charlie, and their home are rare gems.

This was a lovely place to stay. Great location with extremely friendly staff and a delicious continental breakfast. As a warning to anyone parking: it is paid on the street. It was free Saturday and Sunday but we woke up to a parking ticket on Monday morning before we had a chance to go down to pay. Please be more proactive than we were!

wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! unser privates Badezimmer aber auch das normale Bad war sehr sauber und die Mitbewohner sehr freundlich. wir würden es definitiv weiter empfehlen!

We had a short stay on a layover however they allowed us early check in and were very helpful with our many bags! Very clean and comfortable room as well as a nice sunny patio and kitchen amenities. Upon our very early checkout, we had breakfast boxes waiting outside our door…a nice surprise! Thanks again!

The place was perfect for the night I was there. Clean, comfortable, and well situated. There was a hiccup in communication about transportation but not enough to rate my stay any less than five stars, just an encouragement to be proactive about clarifying expectations, especially if there is a language/time zone disparity.

Mijn vriend en ik zijn 2 weken naar de Azoren geweest naar 4 verschillende eilanden en dit was zeker het beste verblijf. Claudia en Johannes zijn super vriendelijk en hebben onwijs veel tips over de omgeving en goede restaurants. Het ontbijt was ook super lekker en alles kwam vers uit eigen tuin. Absoluut een aanrader!

expérience incroyable, ce fût notre meilleur hébergement de notre voyage. Le service aux chambres est impeccable, le déjeuner très bon et diversifié également, puis l'accueil le matin est agréable lors des déjeuners. Je recommande fortement, la vue de la chambre 301 est directement sur Islet vila franca do campo avec Balcon. L'hébergement est à une distance parfaite des activités, et de bons restaurants. 12/10 pour l'appréciation générale !

This Guest House is wonderful. We stayed one night and wish our layover was longer. Amazing host for this property and a Perfect location in a beautiful fisherman village! Super clean and great amenities!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour chez Victor. Le chalet est magnifique, on s'y s'est comme à la maison. Petit bonheur de prendre le déjeuner sur la terrasse face à l'île de Faïal. Belle salle de yoga. Nous étions tout seul dans le chalet ..c'était parfait. Merci à Mona qui nous a accueilli pendant notre séjour. Et servi de délicieux petit déjeuner.

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt im schönen Hause von Stella und Victor. Die Aussicht war herrlich, direkt aufs Meer. Man hatte die Möglichkeit die Küche zu benutzen, um kleine Sachen selber zu kochen und diese dann drinnen oder draussen auf der Terrasse zu geniessen mit dem tollen Ausblick. Die Gastgeber sind sehr sympathisch und entgegenkommend und es gab ein feines Frühstücksbuffet. Wir würden jederzeit gerne wieder dort übernachten.
