Cottage vacation rentals in Avranches

Had a wonderful stay with my husband and little girl. 10min drive to the beach, and lots more beautiful beaches close by. The cottage is very nice, espcially the kitchen area where we spent most of our time when indoors. Lovely patio for eating outside and hot tub and lots of games to play in the garden which was fun as we had good weather. My little girl loved seeing the sheep and chickens. We found many little towns and things to do for day trips. Would recommend - and Sonia was so friendly and helpful!

The cottage is very neat, the equipment is of quality. The activities offered are easy to use. Chantal is very attentive to her guests and is always ready to answer their questions! Calm and serenity for this weekend with friends. Useful shops are in the immediate vicinity! A stay that met our expectations!

We had a wonderful stay with Virginie and Manuel. They were so warm and welcoming, very helpful and considerate. The cottage is well equipped, spacious and comfortable with a lovely outlook. It was lovely to walk around the ponds and the hot tub was always at the perfect temperature. We would definitely go back.

Great welcome. Celine and Raphaël are great and caring and good advice. The accommodation is located halfway between Mont St Michel and Saint Malo. The place is decorated with very good taste. The estate is really GREAT and beautiful. If you want to take your half to a quiet, charming and serene area, go there without a second thought. The hot tub is great after a long day walking. I recommend it 1000%.

A little Normandy paradise, made for young and old. Nice, clean and well thought out, for a great stay. Jeannette and Brian are charming and discreet hosts but always available and smiling. Our baby had a great time in this place with the animals, and the spa is ideal for adults to disconnect. We are in the heart of nature but in 40 minutes we can visit and see the sea. Our whole little family recommends this beautiful place!

We spent a few days at Viviane's, who is a great host: very responsive, kind and with great advice. Mont St Michel is very close, we walked there to the shuttle, which is very convenient and economical. The accommodation is as described and perfect for a few days with family. The Nordic bath and the pretty garden are appreciated, not to mention the chickens of course (with a special mention for Catherine 😅 whom the children adopted). We recommend it!!!

The house was beautiful, tastefully decorated, cosy and very rustic. We felt well at home in the property and the surrounding gardens which were completely private. The house is fully equipped with everything you would need for a peaceful break in the country, and there are very thorough instructions left by the owner on how to do everything, this included recommendations for local attractions, services and more! While this property is perfect for a rural escape, you are only 5 minutes drive from Vire and 10 minutes from Sourdeval. We would highly recommended the property and we hope to return the next time we are in the area.

The house is beautifully located in its own garden. The view of Mont-Saint-Michel is as in the photo and the sheep pastures are also right next door. We didn't have duvets for all 5 people, but it was still very cozy and otherwise very well equipped. The hostess was very nice and gave us very accommodating instructions. We were very pleased and would love to return to this idyll again! Thank you for the trust and the opportunity to spend time in this beautiful house!

Katie, our dog Jesse and I had a lovely peaceful break at Jeanne's cottage. Jeanne provided lots of helpful info about check-in, which was flexible and the local surrounding area for things to do. The house was warm and really well equipped, with lovely dinner sets and a welcome bottle of her local Pommeau de Normandie, which was delicious. The pantry cupboard is well stocked with all the necessities, so you don't need to buy everything in your first shop. The surrounding area both in Normandy and into Brittany, is really pretty, reminds me a lot of Devon in some ways, with big beautiful sandy beaches and rocky coves. Plus, some of the best seafood we've eaten in ages. If you love oysters, you'll love this area. I would love to come back in the spring/summer to experience it in warmer weather and longer evenings, but it was a perfect break in winter, too.

We were received very kindly by Dominique and warmly welcomed. The place was very loving and nicely decorated. The amenities were great.

The accommodation is functional and properly equipped. You can easily prepare meals for two thanks to the 2 hotplates and small multifunction oven, as well as the microwave. The cleanliness of the listing and bedding are impeccable. The view from the house of Mont St Michel is stunning. The environment is extremely peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed the hearty (very hearty) breakfasts (with supplement) prepared at home with quality products. We loved the butter, jams, cakes, croissants and fresh bread… not very hungry for lunch after that… Virginie and Michel are very friendly. Virginie gave us tips on local activities and restaurants. There are many brochures and a list of restaurants available in the house.

I highly recommend Foxes Farm for its quiet, peaceful and relaxing environment, as well as for the spacious cottage, carefully decorated, very clean and tidy, very good bedding. Thanks for the stay, thanks for your availability. Super nice accommodation, ideal for relaxing in a quiet place and hiking. Mont St Michel is 1 hour 20 minutes by car. Small touches on arrival were very much appreciated.

Fraser is a very friendly host, unfortunately we were not able to communicate much because we stayed very little time, the welcome is perfect, the bank listing is just super cozy, we spent an evening there by the fire , the bedding is correct, the bed worthy of a good hotel, same for the bathroom. Thanks for hosting,we will go back longer to share with Annie and Fraser.

Valerie is a very friendly host. We had nice welcome gifts thank you so much. Very clean and super-equipped cottage, very comfortable beds, a beautiful heated pool just behind, very convenient for my grandchildren. The cottage is fully fenced which was convenient for our dog. We were hosted very well by Philippe and his wife who remained available during our stay. We were 2 adults and 3 children. The accommodation was suitable for the 5 of us. Functional and cozy accommodation. Very good location on a very quiet path.

Special mention for this atypical, unique place. A cottage like the hosts: warm and inviting. We felt good there quickly. A small setting in the Normandy countryside 20 minutes from the main sights (landing beaches, memorials...). We would highly recommend it.

Very good stay. Prior to having the owners who are staying a house next door Had 14 people in the next gite (including 6 children) for Halloween but we didn't hear them. Dissociated parking so perfect. Great fireplace (€10 for the 1/8 of steer already provided on arrival) with a wood burning stove that works very well Great attention to the breakfast. A fresh baguette would be a plus (not sure if this is possible given the area) but it was already the milk breads.
