The accommodation is simple and clean, with all amenities. It is associated with a nice restaurant downstairs and wide parking space. The hostess was lovely and helpful!

An excellent house, in a wild place but full of charms! A stream close to the house where dogs can get wet, a dam on the homestead, wonderful bread, helpful and friendly people who made it easy…. A place to come back to!! We traveled with two large dogs that were accepted without hesitation, we were pampered and spent some memorable days. About the house… beautiful! Rustic, well framed, comfortable, clean, well equipped. A true pearl to discover. Thank you Patricia and other colleagues…. Well done!

Luis was a fantastic host - responsive and always of service. The lodgings were fantastic - clean, comfortable, had everything that was needed and more, and in a part of the village I found SO interesting (the medieval part). It was close to the village centre and all that was needed for a pleasant stay. I HIGHLY recommend Luis and his lodgings, and the village of Castelo de Vide for what could be described as nothing less than a STELLAR travel experience! Jaye

We stayed in the “wall”. It is a small but spectacular house, inside one of the most quiet and secluded areas of the castle. It has a walled courtyard, which for us was an added value since we also took our bige. In fact, ALs that accept animals are always to be congratulated because they suffer from the scarcity. The house is in an area where it is difficult to go by car (although it is possible but the streets are too narrow) and Mr Luís was very helpful to take us (to us, to our bags and to our dog) to the house at check in, which was a great help. Even so, walking access is fast. We recommend it.

My husband and I with our 2 children stayed in Francisco’s farmhouse for 8 days in March. It was a unique experience that we greatly enjoyed and would highly recommend. The house sits atop a beautiful hill, and we hiked the access road through fields. We made good use of the fireplaces, which made the rooms very comfortable. The supply of wood, matches and firestarter was appreciated. The main building has 3 bedrooms, each with ensuite. The annex has a separate entrance, living room, bedroom and bathroom. The kitchen/dining area were well stocked with lots of space. The pool was too cold for swimming but the children splashed their feet. The house runs on solar power so we avoided using the dishwasher/washing machine at night. We never had power issues even with some cloudy days. We have stayed at many AirBNBs and this one was uniquely charming and beautifully situated. Rustic style but luxury amenities. Fransisco was a pleasure to deal with, friendly and helpful throughout.

This was our second stay at this fantastic house, and once again, it was a huge success! The space is perfect for a group of friends, offering everything we needed for a relaxing and fun getaway. The house is clean, well-equipped, and has a great atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. We truly had a great time, and it’s clear that a lot of care goes into maintaining the property. Thank you to our hosts for their excellent communication and hospitality! We’re already looking forward to returning for another wonderful stay.

Casa da Margem is in an incredible place in Albufeira and the stay and vacation were memorable. The host João and the person in charge Mr. António was always 5 stars in communication, availability and proactivity. I highly recommend Casa da Margem.

We were 2 couples staying in this lovely spacious home within the walls of Marvao. Loved being able to explore the castle and its walls simply by exiting the house. Driving the streets can be very challenging but if you are a skilled driver it can be done, otherwise, immediately after entering the castle wall, stop in front of the tourist office and carry luggage up the stairs the lead you directly to the house. Then park in the public car park. The house has many bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms and functional kitchen. Highly recommend this home for your Marvao stay!!!

Spent three weeks in this charming house. Absolutely unique place. Situated in a hidden valley with beautiful surroundings. Lovely walks directly from the house, nothing other than natural sounds make relaxing in the garden a real pleasure and the lack of light pollution makes for stunning star gazing. Daniel is an excellent host for whom nothing is too much trouble. We loved staying here and would recommend it unreservedly.

Highly recommend this Quinta! The manager and staff are so kind and go out of their way to accommodate. They allows us to change our dates at the last minute and were very flexible w/ check in and check out. The grounds are very peaceful but still close to main towns to explore - we loved Estremoz. All three villas / apartments are well appointed - nice furniture, fully equipped kitchen, comfy beds. They are basically brand new and a great way to spend a peaceful holiday. A highlight was visiting Estevan restaurant- a must do when you’re in the area! We hope to be back again .. it was such a lovely stay!

The place is amazing, extremely clean, nicely decorated, very pleasant. The gentleman who welcomed us was very friendly and helpful. We were very pleased. An experience to repeat no doubt. Thanks to Daniel for hosting us so well. Very successful.

Our stay at this property was excellent. The house is extremely spacious, with 5 bedrooms, a very well-decorated rustic living room (all well thought out and with very good taste) and 3 very clean and functional bathrooms. Both the beds and the bed linens and towels were comfortable and of high quality. Very well-equipped kitchen, with several utensils, which made preparing meals very easy. The dining area on the porch, overlooking the typical Alentejo landscape, created a great atmosphere for our group lunches. The rooms of the house are equipped with air-conditioning (essential for the hottest days). In short, the house offers everything you need for a relaxing and pleasant stay. I highly recommend this property.
