Conveniently located near Banner Elk and Valle Crucis, we are close to shopping or the slopes. We are adjacent to 450 acres of forest that is part of the Blue Ridge Conservancy, offering hiking trails to the public. Welcome to Rustic Ridge. Located in the Appalachian Mountains up a holler in Roan Mountain Tennessee. You will enjoy all the porch rocking AND marshmallow roasting that you can stand. Just sit and enjoy the sounds of the babbling brook while you relax by the fire pit or take a hike on our private trail. With deep woods views and changing leaf color this is truly a treasure. Pet friendly with a $35 fee. AT hikers are welcome with free local pick up and drop off with booking. Come enjoy!

Charming 1940's Cabin, Bold Creek, Spacious Deck

We named our space "The Creek House" because of the bold creek that flows down the hill from the cabin. The home is located in a holler with views of the mountains in the distance. It is peaceful with sounds of water cascading over the boulders. You might also hear the occasional neighing & mooing of our neighbors on the farm next door! The area offers hiking, fishing, skiing, tubing, gem mining, Zip lining, UTVing, dining, antique shopping, wine tastings at local vineyards, etc.

Come stay minutes away from the beautiful Linville Gorge. This area has everything from amazing hiking, mountain biking, climbing, skiing, snowtubing, to just enjoying the breathtaking scenery. This is a one bedroom guest house separate from the main house located in the neighborhood of Gingercake Acres with an amazing view throughout the space. There is also a bonus room with a futon. Enjoy sitting on the deck and enjoying a view of the mountains and a spectacular sunrise.
