Luxury Farm Cottage, Views! See Our Reviews!!

VictoriaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This by far the best place we have stayed in the last few years. It was beautifully and comfortably decorated. Had everything we needed. Morning came with a symphony of birds and sounds from the cows in the neighboring farm. Nighttime brought a chorus of tree frogs. The beds were comfortable the kitchen stocked and the hot tub was a great way to relax at the end of the day. Close to fishing and hiking. Would definitely stay again if back in the area.

We were able to relax, which was most important to us during this much needed family vacation. The cabin is so cozy and adorably appointed. The kitchen had absolutely everything we needed, and then some. Amy was right about the deer. They were so friendly and beautiful to watch. The road was very amenable to morning strolls and afternoon walks, the views were breathtaking. We hope to make this a new yearly tradition. Thank you so much, Amy. We highly recommend Amy’s cabin.

Incredible Mountain Top Views on Sugar Mountain

JackieRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Tanya’s place was all you could imagine and more! The home was clean and cozy. Perfect for my family. The view was immaculate from waking up to going to bed. Things to do if you want to spend the day out. We ventured to Tweetsie Railroad but we also spent one day just lounging at the home. We loved it and would definitely go again. Tanya was quick at responding when I had questions and upon arriving I did have a couple but she answered in a timely manner and never made me feel as if I was a bother. Thank you Tanya for allowing us to enjoy your little piece of peace!

Doublehead Mountain Retreat

BenRating, 5 stars1 month ago
What a great spot. Tucked away, at almost the top of a mountain. Hot tub was great, and the home was very cozy. No A/C, but 3500ft of elevation makes up for it. Heed the 4wd warning. 95% of people won’t make it up in their Altima. And if you do, you’ll make a huge mess of the driveway. It is a minimally maintained gravel and rock drive. The house is worth the trip. Will be coming back.

The Crossnore Cottage

IsaacRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We had a great stay! The house is very spacious yet very warm and welcoming with super cute decorations. The hot tub was well maintained, you do have to push the buttons pretty hard to get them to work, which was no biggie when we figured it out. The downstairs was the perfect place for a cuddly movie night. This was the first place I've stayed that provided some snacks it was a great touch. The kitchen was stocked will all essentials pots pans and appliances. The bedrooms and bathrooms were also very well stocked and clean. This place is huge and so is the yard. My only piece of advise is to update the pictures in the posting. I was hesitant to book, and almost didn't because it looked like its was on a busy street and had small rooms. I was happily surprised that it was in a private area and could very easily fit 8 adults in beds. It was more than enough room for us 4 adults. 10/10!

The location was lovely and perfect to host my bridesmaids and family for my wedding weekend. I would definitely return just for some r and r with my now husband. The space is private and beautiful! I loved that we could go outside and hear the beautiful sounds of the stream near by. And the house was absolutely stunning. My mother and I loved that each bedroom had its own name on the floor. 10/10 recommend.

Place was great. Location would be amazing in the winter, not as much to do in the spring, but the location is walkable to restaurants, and a little hiking trail. House was clean and everything was as advertised.

Artsy Boho Magical Cabin + 90 acres! Creekside

TaylorRating, 5 stars4 months ago
The house was beautiful and clean. Brooke was quick to respond with any questions or issues we had. She even ordered an electric griddle for us so we didn't have to bring one. One of the bedrooms listed had two twins instead of a king and the beds weren't the best. Additonally, there was only 1 shower (second bathroom had a tub) however we made do and still had a wonderful time :)
A charming cabin is nestled in a winter landscape, surrounded by snow-covered trees. The exterior features green trim and a welcoming porch, while fresh snow blankets the ground, creating a serene, tranquil environment.

DO NOT RENT -Home under renovation

Went to enjoy the river and relax. It met all expectations. It’s a peaceful place right on the river. A lot of wildlife in the area…deer, wild turkey, hawks, geese, ducks, fireflies. Very easy access for fishing and the river has plenty of trout. Adjacent to laurel creek waterfalls which was a simple hike and good swimming holes. Very clean and welcoming and had all the amenities we needed. Didn’t want to leave and would definitely stay there again.

TOP Floor! Atlas Trace at SugarTop!

KenRating, 5 stars4 months ago
What a great place! Also the host was very kind and great communication! Very nice place and only 10 minutes from Sugar Mountain. Wonderful amenities including pool, hot tub, sauna, library, shop, workout room etc etc. Only (potential) issue which is no fault of the owners is that this is a large 10 story condo complex. On busy days, especially around the weekend it can get very busy during check in and check out and you have to park outside of the guard shack and get shuttled back to the condo. Again, we didn’t really have much of a hang up but others did-just something to keep in mind. Fantastic place, and well equipped! Thank you again!
An indoor pool area is highlighted by a high, wooden-beamed ceiling and large windows allowing natural light. Comfortable black lounge chairs line the sides of the pool, which features steps leading into the water. The calm, blue water invites relaxation.

Whitney & Jay were great hosts—responsive and helpful when we had questions. The space was just as shown/described in the listing. My family of four enjoyed our stay during spring break and our first time skiing during Sugar Mountain’s end-of-season March Madness. We made such wonderful memories here. Be sure to enjoy the most stunning sunrises and sunsets from the balcony.

Beautiful, cozy tree house... felt like a cottage on the mountain. It was very clean & furnished well. The road leading to it is very narrow & winding fyi. I appreciate how the owner wants people to keep their pets off the furniture and keep their dog in a crate when they're not physically there. You wouldn't have noticed that pets were allowed because of the cleanliness of the place. Just so one knows you'll be climbing up at least 30 something steps to get inside so must be physically able to do so if choosing to stay there.
