Chantal is a wonderful and sweet hostess. We were warmly welcomed. Everything was taken care of and the cottage is well equipped. We got fresh eggs, homemade jam and honey. We were allowed to take lettuce from the vegetable garden ourselves. The garden at the cottage is insanely large and is very nicely maintained. We could walk and play with the dog. At the back of the cottage, a fenced terrace which can be closed so that the dog cannot run away. There is also a stream/river that flows past the garden in which our dog could swim and we could bathe his paws. The house is a nice base to visit towns or take beautiful walks. Much can be reached within half an hour. In the village (within walking distance) there are 2 restaurants and a supermarket. Mon Idee was our favorite. A bakery with delicious croissants and baguettes is a 10-minute drive away. Definitely recommended to stay here in this cottage for a while.
