Formally a fortified castle “Fort de La Bastide “ was constructed on the site of a Roman military station. The earliest historical mention is 1417 and it's long history includes an invasion in 1584 by Protestants during the period of the Huguenot wars. The fort has maintained many original features including the old stone staircase at the front door leading up to a 4 bedroomed loft apartment . There is full access to the large garden including an 10mx4m in-ground heated swimming pool .

"La Bergerie", classified 4*, is a detached house, with all comforts, located at the entrance of the 5 ha park, between the castle and the dovecote. Fully renovated in keeping with the Quercy building, it has 1 bedroom and 1 mezzanine (low ceiling because it is under the slope of the roof). This old vineyard house with a lot of character can easily accommodate up to 14 people. There is a heated pool with large terraces that offers lovely views accross the park. The pool is equipped with a safety cover and an outdoor pool shower.
