Situated just 15 minutes away from Belcastel, one of the prettiest medieval villages in the area (with its well-known 1 * Michelin Restaurant), as well as the Château de Bournazel, one of best Renaissance restoration of Occitanie. The town of Rodez is 30 min away. Very good for shopping and also a cultural visit at the Musée Soulages. But you might just like to come and rest & enjoy some nice walks & beautiful views .

Medieval Fort, Sud Ardèche stunning loft with pool

Formally a fortified castle “Fort de La Bastide “ was constructed on the site of a Roman military station. The earliest historical mention is 1417 and it's long history includes an invasion in 1584 by Protestants during the period of the Huguenot wars. The fort has maintained many original features including the old stone staircase at the front door leading up to a 4 bedroomed loft apartment . There is full access to the large garden including an 10mx4m in-ground heated swimming pool .
