Family-friendly vacation rentals in Aussillon

Beautiful cottage, very well equipped, where we had a great time. Too bad, however, that cleaning and access to the spa are offered at extra cost. It is also unfortunate that there is little flexibility on the departure time (set at 11am), with the host arriving precisely at that time. A big thank you to Nathalie for her warm welcome.

This is a great house for a larger group in a quiet and idyllic location near Carcasonne which offer a great deal for all ages. We found the host to be attentive , responsive and informative and completely enjoyed our vacation experience.

Jean Francois was kind, responsive, helpful and generous. He met us at the door of his home rode with us in the car to make sure we parked in the place that would give us easy access to our vehicle when we needed it. His house is quirky and lovely with a spectacular view from a glassed in veranda on the top floor that overlooks the modern city with the medieval walled city of Carcassonne off in the distance. His home is decorated with the memorabilia of his incredibly interesting life as, among other things, a professional cyclist having competed in multiple Tours De France. We very much enjoyed our too-short stay with Jean Francois.

We had a pleasant weekend in this green setting! The house is very quiet, clean and very well-equipped, perfect for a 100% disconnect weekend!! Great welcome by the owner, attentive and available. A big thank you 😊

Perfect accommodation in a pleasant, peaceful and quiet setting. The summer kitchen as well as the kitchen in the house were very well equipped. Boules court, heated pool with many deckchairs, ping pong table, foosball, everything is well thought out for vacationers. Stephane and his wife are responsive, welcoming and warm.

We had a great stay at Benedict’s house. The house was charming and in a lovely location in the town. The views from the roof terrace were beautiful and the kids loved taking a dip in the pool at the end of the day. Benedict was incredibly helpful and quick to respond to any questions and very generous with everything in the house.

We had a very nice stay. The view from the apartment was even better than on the pictures, the hot tub was a nice extra, the hosts were very friendly and being able to get breakfast in the morning was a good benefit. We only stayed for one night, but would definitely recommend Fred's place for longer stays.

We had a lovely stay at Tom and Sheda's. The cottage is fully equipped for a stay in the region, and is centrally located between Castres, Lautrec and Realmont. The cottage was easy to keep cool, even during the heatwave we experienced. Tom and Sheda are lovely hosts, and i would recommend staying with them if you're looking for a place in the region.

The house is exactly what is detailed. Very good value for money. The neighborhood is very quiet and easy to park. Very good location, 10 minutes drive from Carcasonne Castle. The house was cozy, everything we were looking for. Thank you very much for everything

Thank you for all Una!!!!! Una has been super friendly and always willing to help in all that was needed, she gave us a gift on arrival and every day suggested things to do, the truth is that we have found ourselves at home, the house, the area and she in particular.

We had a great time at Claire, Thierry and Stella's (their dog). Their kindness, hospitality and idyllic setting of their home won us over. We'll come back to that, that's for sure!

The location is amazing if you like peace and nature like us. A lovely apartment with a beautiful view. Various beautiful hiking trails directly from the apartment. Very welcoming and approachable host.

This is one of the loveliest long term stays that I have had ever had. This feels like a true home - all of the amenities and appliances that you could need for cooking at home and having a relaxing evening after a day of travels, including a kettle, coffee maker, microwave, pots and pans, and multiple sets of dishes. Never had any issues the hot water or water pressure. The wi-fi is incredibly fast and reliable, perfect for video calls for work and video streaming. The hosts live nearby and were very flexible and responsive when our train was delayed coming into Carcassonne, and they met us at the door and helped us to settle in. They also were very patient and helpful whenever we had any questions or issues (including those that were caused by our cat!) The location is incredible, very close to tourist sites and a nearby park / walking trail. Carrefour is about 15 mins walking, Lidl is a little further (25 mins walking). We'd love to come again!!

The accommodation is spacious and well decorated, modern. Perfect for our family visiting Carcassonne

Very good hosting by Sophie and Patrick Peaceful place, very quiet, matches the description. Hosts are flexible with check-in and checkout times. Perfect for a family. A very large garden I recommend it.

Beautiful home in a quiet and soothing environment, in the middle of nature, with only close neighbors, pretty donkeys, adorable sheep. We were greeted with a smile, and very pleasant kindness. Our host was attentive and our arrival well prepared. The accommodation is very comfortable, clean, very well thought out. It's suitable for a large family as well as a large group of friends. The rooms are very spacious, the bedding very comfortable, and each room has its own bathroom. Everything is nicely decorated. We had a lovely evening in front of the chiminee. We also appreciated the ecological approach to managing the property We recommend the place to lovers of nature and calm.

If you are looking for calm,and tranquility you will be served! This cottage a little lost in the mountain in the middle of the forest is the ideal place to recharge away from the hustle and bustle of summer seaside resorts. Theremoteness of the first shops still requires everything to provide for food . But that's exactly what we were looking for for our step. The patio and pool have a great dominant view. What a pleasure to swim or eat in this environment. The cottage (the large one) entirely built by Marcel is very nice. Its small entrance does not suggest the grandeur of the place once inside . Ingrid and Marcel were very welcoming and recommended beautiful walks in the forest very pleasant and accessible for children too. We also very much appreciated being able to chat with Ingrid who was able to tell us about her atypical and very interesting journey. Anyway , come on!!

We loved staying in Palatz, a very nice family business. The gite was clean and complete, the swimmimgpool big with a nice view and there are a lot of beautiful seats everywhere. But most off all we loved the delicious diners Natasha made every evening! We visit the beautiful Abbey nearby Narbonne and did a wine tasting at Chateau Du Luc. Also Carcassonne and a super nice brocante at Rieux Minervois. We come back for sure!
