Monthly Rentals in Auburn

It was a wonderful cabin and a great setting. We had the unfortunate luck of some bad weather, but that's how it goes in early spring in the Midwest. Thankfully the cabin made for a nice hideout from the cold, rain and snow outside. Our kids enjoyed the upstairs nook. We made a few bonfires and peaked at the beautiful lake when it wasn't raining. McJuggers and 3 Sweets Bakery just a few minutes away were nice spots, along with the Twisted Pair in Adell. We'd definitely consider coming back to enjoy the outdoors at some point in the future.

Very modern and nice

I'm so grateful to Connie and Rich for sharing their space and making it such a comfortable home away from home. Apart from the fact that there's a full kitchen, comfy couches to lounge in, and the views opening out to open fields and sky, Connie and Rich are so welcoming. Connie checked in with us to see if there was anything we needed, she would always get back to my messages quickly, and prepared the wood for a bonfire for us in the evening. I'm usually lucky to stay with amenable hosts but Connie and Rich are truly welcoming, which is on a different level! Plus, we were lucky to taste, BOTH, Connie's home baked raspberry turnovers and chocolate chip cookies! Hurry and book!

This was the best airbnb experience I've had in a while. Clearly Long Lake is made for summer fun, but I didn't feel like I was missing out as I have when I've stayed at other homes in the colder/off-season months. The lake was stunning. The hiking & bike trails were accessible & wonderful year round. I really loved the fireplace in the home. Building a big fire & watching the lake out the picture windows after working or hiking or exploring was just the best. The bed was cozy. The main floor of the home were inviting & felt like my place. I didn't get home sick at all. I really loved it! Check it out!
