Everything was great!

The house is spacious and has a really nice layout. Rooms are big, and the bathroom is very comfortable. Perfect for our family of 4 and 2 friends. Some small downsides are the view from the garden, you overlook the valley with some industry and the highway is quite nearby, you can hear it from the garden. But we guess the garden would feel very different in spring and summer when the trees have all their leaves. We had some difficulties with the floor heating, but I'm am sure this will get fixed, since Yewgenija is a super host who went out of her way to answer our questions asap and is very open to suggestions on how to improve the house and the experience of her guests. The area is very nice for daytrips and walks and the Ahr and its small villages are certainly worth the trip, although I would rather recommend a visit outside of winter. Since the big flood of 2021 a lot has been done to rebuild the area and the Ahr-valley residents are very warm and welcoming to tourists!

We enjoyed it very much, the hosts are very nice and straightforward. The amenities were great, especially in the kitchen. We had plenty of room to cook and eat together... not so easy for 11. It would be nice if there might be a table tennis table or a trampoline in the garden. You can make beautiful hikes in the area. Unfortunately, we only had one weekend. We can definitely recommend this house.

We wanted to spend a relaxing weekend getaway with close friends and Manfred‘s house was the most ideal place to be. The house is perfectly located - away from the hustle bustle of the city and close to nature. The views from the house are splendid and the proximity to the lake is cherry on the top! Manfred is a great host, was available to communicate when we needed him. The house was clean and cozy and we felt absolutely at home here. We have great memories here and will definitely recommend and love to visit again! Thank you :)

We had a lovely stay at the witch's house. The house is well equipped, you will find everything you need. For us, the low ceiling height was also no problem, as we are both not tall😊

We used the accommodation for four with two children (12 and 9) as a central starting point for activities in the Ruhr area. Therefore, the location was especially important to us. With about 10 min. walk to the nearest train station, you can get everywhere very well. The apartment is not large, but well suited for a family for a few days. Otherwise, we particularly liked the great view through the balcony and window and the freely usable small swimming pool. All in all it was a nice time!

We spent New Year's Eve in the Stranzenburg in a small group. Really a beautiful unique house with charm! Ursula was a great host who even greeted us with a cake. If you have any questions, we were always able to reach out and received a quick response. We were all very comfortable.

The apartment is super lovingly furnished, you feel right at home and have everything you need. I felt comfortable from second 1. ❤️ Also super recommended for dog owners, you are very rural and can go for a great walk. At the same time, you can still get to Cologne very quickly by car. Perfect location for activities. :)

We enjoyed staying with Kevin very much. We found the apartment as described, everything was clean and well maintained. Sauna and pool were a dream after a long day out on the slopes. Bed and sofa bed were very comfortable. Only in the kitchen equipment we missed things such as garbage bags, pot sponge, baking paper, and were also unable to shop on Sundays. I would recommend the place at any time, and would love to come back.

We were with a large group including baby with Heleen and her husband and we loved the accommodation: spacious, sufficient toilets and bathrooms for the group size, lots of parking, opportunities to stay indoors and outdoors - we liked it very much!

Beautiful comfortable home with all amenities. Located in a quiet place on the edge of the village between homes and some companies in a rural area with nice hiking opportunities.

We spent some nice and quiet days with our dog Rudi during the turn of the year. The accommodation is very nicely located in the countryside, a small farm with cows is located nearby. There are beautiful opportunities for walking and hiking. Exactly the tranquility and seclusion we were looking for! Stefanie and her husband were also very friendly! Thank you for everything! The house was clean, the beds were made and on the table there was a binder explaining all, from the WiFi to the garbage. The house has a dishwasher which was an absolute joy to have. The surrounding area is stunning, from Willingen to Korbach there are loads of activities to do and restaurants to enjoy dinner at. Highly recommend this place.

Very nice accommodation in a quiet part of the city. Private Parking right at the entrance from the property.

I stayed with Iman because of an exam at the Fern University in Hagen. The stay at Iman's was great and I felt at home from the minute I arrived. Iman and her dog are very nice and she always answered me directly or wrote me all the necessary information on her own. I'd love to come back, clear recommendation, especially for students.

We felt very comfortable in the tiny house. The host was helpful if we had any questions and suggested good hiking routes. The tiny house is in a very quiet area and on the edge of nature. Due to the cuddly soft bedding, you had a very good night's sleep to start a long hikes the next day! If we were to return to the Rothaar Mountains, we would definitely choose the tiny house again 🙂

If you are looking for peace and contemplation, this is the place to be. The romantic cottage has old-fashioned features such as shutters and a fireplace, but also has the fastest Internet and a bathtub. The best of both worlds and it is a pleasure to watch Eva with her animals! I'm sure I'll go there again.

Aggi & Lars were very friendly and likeable hosts, the apartment really nice and clean and the location a dream. We felt very comfortable with a dog and two toddlers and look forward to having the opportunity to spend our family vacation there again.
